It’s the 1st of July! Can you believe we’re halfway through the year? In the spirit of reflection, here’s my half-year review: Goal 1: Complete the Hyrox Race Mixed Doubles Injury-Free This challenge was immense as I had to lift the same weight as the men, with the only difference being the target height for wall balls. But I did it, and I’m feeling stronger than ever. Goal 2: Improve Financial Health I invested in business and vision coaching to clarify the business I want to build. While there’s still work to be done, I’m now in a much better place with a clear direction. Plus, I hired my first full-time assistant! Goal 3: Enhance Social Health Entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey, but I’m grateful for the communities I’m part of. Co-building the Women in Business community with Daisy for INSEAD and Morris for ESSEC has been incredible. We’re also working on creating a broader, inclusive community of women in business, regardless of their school. What's Next for the Rest of 2024? As my business and coaching practice continue to grow (I’m receiving more one-on-one coaching requests), I want to serve the wider community. I’m developing resources to help you tell your story, one step at a time. Watch this space. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐓𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐌𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬: 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 2024 came with its challenges, and my activity level dropped—partly because I had my baby earlier in the year. But staying idle has never been my thing. So, I leaned into virtual events and communities, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. Two communities stood out for me in 2024: C-Section Mothers Group: This incredible group of strong, resilient women inspired me and even led to the creation of BodyBloom, the postpartum app I worked on. Together, we supported each other through recovery, self-love, and navigating life after multiple C-sections. BeTechified Community: As the year wrapped up, I stepped into the tech world with the help of BeTechified and our amazing coach, Faith Olaiya . This experience unlocked new possibilities for me. The lectures, projects, and group work brought me closer to brilliant minds, and my team was nothing short of exceptional. Looking back, 2024 gave me invaluable networks and connections that I’ll treasure forever. As we step into 2025, remember this: 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨—𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮’𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 Here’s to networking better and making meaningful connections this year!
