Thrilled to have participated and represented Interwell at the #OWI Gulf of Mexico event today! It was a privilege to showcase how our IBV (Intelligent Barrier Valve) was successfully deployed in the Gulf of Mexico to safely remove calcium chloride from an annulus during a straddle intervention—effectively protecting the production zone from this incompatible fluid. This innovative application demonstrates the critical role of advanced technology in enabling safe and efficient operations in challenging scenarios. We're thrilled to announce that the Horizon Europe funded initiative started its journey on 1. June 2024. Our first consortium meeting held in Taastrup, Denmark on 11. – 12. June 2024, brought together all 7 European partners, led by Danish Technological Institute. Our mission? 🔺 To establish a robust framework for innovative procurement. 🔺 To empower Industrial Liaison Officers (ILOs) to provide specialized advisory services to Big Science Organisations (BSOs). Over the next 3️⃣ years, INPROCAP will focus on: ▪ Motivating start-ups and SMEs across Europe to engage in Big Science innovation. ▪ Enhancing ILOs' role in advising BSOs on innovation procurement. ▪ Making innovation procurement a standard practice in the Big Science ecosystem. 💡Together, we aim to make innovation procurement a cornerstone of the Big Science market. Elcogen has partnered with AVL to develop solid oxide #electrolyser #cell (#SOEC) #stack modules for MW-scale #hydrogen production plants. This project brings together the R&D efforts of both partners in their respective IPCEI Hy2Tech programs in Estonia/Finland and Austria.   AVL, headquartered in Graz, Austria, is a #mobility #technology company specialised in development, simulation, and testing in the #automotive industry, as well as other sectors such as rail, marine, and #energy.   The partners will focus on one of the biggest challenges of the technology – scaling from small cell footprints to multi-megawatt modules. The solution will incorporate multiple Elcogen single SOEC stacks in a stack module, which will enable industrial scaling of the technology. The collaboration combines Elcogen’s expertise in SOEC/solid oxide #fuelcell (#SOFC) cells and stacks with AVL’s industry expertise in SOFC/SOEC system and stack module development.
