Does this sound familiar? 👇 ...a big headache 😩 The traditional Recruitment Process that 90% of small businesses use, normally results in 30-40 CV’s to scan through and choose from over a 2-3 week period. Then they have to arrange interviews and chase people up to come to the interview. They often put aside a full day for interviewing, only for half of the applicants to not even turn up. In today’s high applicant market, many applicants are never even considered. It’s a common practice for internal selection teams (recruiters and hiring managers) to select qualified candidates from an initial pool of applicants then work them through the process while the role stays open. If the role gets filled from that pool, everyone after the cutoff is ignored, no matter their qualifications. What is the likelihood the best fit is always one of the earliest applicants?
