💫Connections that transcend business contexts are rare, but incredibly valuable. This photo with Surya Narayan represents more than just a professional encounter—it’s a meeting of minds, perspectives, and cultures. Our conversation naturally touched on business, but more importantly, it dove deeper into our shared experiences, values, and aspirations beyond our respective roles. This encounter is not just about business; it’s about connecting as people with shared experiences in a country we now call our second home. 🇰🇭 Grateful to call Cambodia my second home, a place where these meaningful encounters flourish. 🌍💼 #GlobalConnections #BeyondBusiness #Cambodia #Leadership #ProfessionalGrowth #HumanConnection #ExpatsLife #BusinessCommunity #CrossCulturalCollaboration #DiversityAndInclusion #GlobalProfessionals #InspiringConversations #BusinessNetworking #MeaningfulConnections

Kia ora colleagues; Here's my 2024 LinkedIn 'Rewind', a summary of what my colleagues at Leadership Lab NZ and I have been involved with and posting about this year. "In 2024, collective leadership proved more crucial than ever in Aotearoa - not just as a concept, but as our path forward through complex challenges. From Waitangi to Bangkok, from Singapore to Ōtautahi, this year showed how traditional wisdom and contemporary challenges require collective responses. Working alongside educational leaders across 12 international schools, social service providers, and tangata whenua partners, we witnessed the power of shared purpose and collective action. Key moments that shaped my mahi: • Launching our 10th year of Singapore International Schools Leadership Programmes • Supporting Te Tiriti-based leadership across social services sector • Expanding Leadership Lab NZ's impact through new programmes including Puāwai rangatahi • Deepening partnerships with tangata whenua across regions • Building stronger international connections while honoring local commitments Three posts that captured my journey: "Its critical that those of us who identify as Tangata Tiriti / Pakeha speak up publicly about our strong support for Te Tiriti o Waitangi" On the importance of active allyship and collective voice https://lnkd.in/ewnJ7mA4 "Honouring the collective Te Tiriti-based leadership shown by Social Services Sector" Keynote at Whakamanawa 2024 National Social Services Conference https://lnkd.in/ejmTiHEA "Reflecting on two incredibly meaningful days at Waitangi" Finding peace and pride in our collective identity as tangata whenua and tangata tiriti https://lnkd.in/er5cuBKM Looking to 2025: Our commitment to Te Tiriti-based leadership development deepens while expanding impact across Aotearoa and internationally. The complexities we face demand collective wisdom and action - from addressing equity challenges to building sustainable leadership practices. To our partners across education, social services, and community development: your commitment to collective impact creates lasting change. The path forward requires all of us working together, guided by Te Tiriti principles and shared purpose. #collectiveimpact #equityandinclusion #tetiritiowaitangi

A Journey of Growth, Connection, and Purpose with ALU When I first encountered the African Leadership University (ALU), I was drawn to its mission of shaping the next generation of ethical and innovative leaders for Africa. Little did I know that this would become more than just an institution—it would become a place of inspiration, a community of dreamers and doers, and a significant part of my story. Becoming a mentor in the ALUmni Mentorship Program, Cohort 2 was one of the most fulfilling experiences for me this year 2024. ALU is not just about academics; it’s about purpose, impact, and reimagining what leadership in Africa can look like. Through this program, I had the opportunity to guide and support some of the brightest minds, each working on groundbreaking projects with the potential to transform Africa. As I listened to their ideas, witnessed their growth, and celebrated their successes, my love for ALU deepened. It reminded me why I am passionate about leadership, service, and creating opportunities for others to thrive. ALU has cultivated a culture that makes everyone—from students to mentors—feel like they are part of something much bigger, something revolutionary. Receiving this Certificate of Participation is an honor, but the real reward is the relationships I’ve built and the lessons I’ve learned. ALU has taught me that leadership is not about titles but about service, collaboration, and leaving a legacy of positive change. To the mentees I worked with: thank you for trusting me, challenging me, and inspiring me. Your energy, creativity, and commitment give me hope for the future of our continent. To ALU: thank you for creating this platform that allows us to dream, grow, and lead together. Africa’s future is bright because of institutions like ALU, and I’m grateful to be part of this story. #MyALUStory #Leadership #Mentorship #ImpactfulProjects #AfricaRising

Have you ever wondered if diversity and inclusion in leadership are the same and why they matter? Has it ever been one of those things that we worry about as leaders because diversity and inclusion are important in leadership? Also, the terms are often used interchangeably. They are related but quite not synonymous. Let's get into the basic meaning. #diversity #inclusion #leadership #ethicalleadership #thoughtleadership #coaching #executivecoaching Ignite Your Leadership Journey Thinkers360 https://lnkd.in/euCBsk_p

#Throwback November 26, 2023 Leadership in Africa Forum brought to you by Central Leadership Program and proudly sponsored by TEMPLE ADVISORY will be one of the unforgettable experiences Fellow Kekeli Amenu and I, Caleb Yeboah have had in our leadership career. Hosting the program seem daunting from the beginning but later got very interesting with the support from #FellowFellows, #BoEs, #Friends and #Family, #Mentors, and Infact everyone. The #theme for discussion was, “Embracing our African Identity; How that Influences Transformational Leadership.” We hosted close to 30 young adults between the ages of 19 - 30 years on the meeting. The discussion resonated deeply with them and stirred up their minds to reflect on #1 the current state of Leadership in our country, #2 How much they know about themselves, as Africans, potentials all around them and #3 finally how we all can function effectively as leaders wherever we find ourselves to cause a bigger transformation. What I personally learnt from the entire discussion was that Change begins with us. Just as Lee Kuan Yew lead the transformation of Singapore, so can #One idea, #One Person, #One conversation bring about a massive transformation. We need not to wait till we get to the top to influence change. We need to #influence change now. Embracing the true sense of ourselves, Our #Identity, promotes #nationalistic interests other than self and personalized interests seen in all areas of government, institutional and private owned firms. The closing submissions of the participants sounded like the roar of Oliver Twist paraphrased, they want more of such forums to lift them up and encourage them to do great wherever they find themselves. Hoping to come your way with more forums like this Family. Thank you enjoy this piece. #Leadership #Africa #Ghana #CLP

♻️Passing the Torch: A Journey of Friendship and Leadership Seeing this recently taken photo of three successive Country Heads for Visa Singapore and Brunei brought back cherished memories. Our enduring friendship makes it even more special! A great #succession plan mirrors successfully passing the torch in a relay race. When I handed over the baton in 2018 to Kunal Chatterjee, I felt immense pride. Witnessing Kunal pass it on to Adeline Kim in December 2022 was equally rewarding. These moments remind me of the incredible journeys together and how our shared experiences have shaped our paths forward. Now, serving on multiple #boards, I see that one of the most crucial responsibilities for Boards is #CEO succession planning: ✅ A good CEO succession plan reflects a board’s performance. ✅ The profile of the CEO must evolve with changing business needs, so succession planning is a continuous process and should start early. ✅Grooming a successor takes years and must be done in partnership with the current CEO - key to leaving a strong #legacy. Here’s to #friendship, #mentorship, #sponsorship and bright futures ahead! #SuccessionPlanning #boardleadership #Leadership
