𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿! Ever since we started our company we realised two things: 1️⃣ A lot of our work is being lost or thrown to trash after we completed our client work. 2️⃣ There is very little help online for international students, regarding the application process, required documents, etc. Those two points were very much related, as a lot of our work could easily be reused by other people if there was a place through which all of them could be accessed. That’s when the first idea behind Edunade Academy came to life. After a year of work and hundreds of iterations, we managed to successfully launch it, and last week we welcomed our 100th user! 🥳 The whole idea behind the platform was to create a one-stop-shop for all students wanting to go and study abroad. Since most of our clients come from international study programmes, it only felt right to include a section aimed at helping them too. We’ve already managed to gather 1000s of resources, recorded tons of videos, created 1000+ practice questions, and we're just getting started! 💪 Our plans for the future are even more exciting, but more on that in the next posts. Hi founders, I couldn't agree more with Laura Enache, the most important step to take is to validate your idea i.e. can your service/product make money? Phase 1 with Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme in TU is a must, they will guide you through the process of validation.

We are learning how to link the development of empathy among young people to civic engagement, during the second European meeting of Erasmusplus project Mind the Future. Irish research by Bernadine Brady and Pat Dolan reports a high level of empathy among youth, and a low level of pro-social and civic behaviour. We want to change that, in 7 countries in VET education, by connecting role modelling, empathy games, civic engagement and entrepreneurship. Coming years we will develop games, challenge days and job shadowing action with and by youth.
