When I did this in my first business, I thought: - It won't work - It's too complicated - My team might quit - Clients might not buy The primitive part of the brain doesn't like change. It’s normal. Push through it. Productizing isn’t just a way to efficiently scale your business. It's a way to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to clients. Instead of reinventing the wheel with each engagement, you package years of expertise into something predictable and valuable. Clients know what to expect, and you gain a competitive edge. It’s a win-win. Some clients may leave. Usually the difficult to please. Ones that consume all oxygen. Some staff may quit. Usually the highest paid. Ones that held you hostage. The tradeoff? Your business is an asset. Scalable and valuable. You can even exit. The hardest part is convincing yourself. Let go of any attachment to being the owner of a complex, sophisticated business.
