Are there too many of Sneable characters? I can answer that question for you, yes and no. Let's look at it this way, you don't have to pick all of them, what it comes down to is, what do you need the character for and what statement are you looking to make. Don't look at it as there is too many characters, look at it as having many different choices to choose from. You can choose one Sneable character, a couple or a group, then go from there. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish, is it a gift for yourself, a friend, family member or for a business project. Once you have decided on how one or more characters will help you, apply your choice and complete your mission. Dil Se design Tak They always has a wonderful way of doing things with their product focusing well on user needs. I have said this here before as well. They just proved that it wasn't just product but they kickass in everything they do. As customer & a user, it was good to see this ad film, taking me closer to the brand. Now brand & ad experts may or may not approve - because some parts of it could have been better but it doesn't matter and I'll refrain from a post-mortem because "Customer happy and hopefully Canva happy". It feels hard to believe that I've been doing this for 97 days 😳 For these next couple of days, I just want to do a wind down to end the challenge on a good note! 🗓 ✅ Day 97/100; Building a design studio publicly: Today, I finally started curating everything & putting together/updating the social profiles (both my personal one & oddeasy studio's) → Had a meeting with the content team going over the descriptions, bios, etc. → & sat down to create and finalize cover images & display pictures and any other necessary graphics. Now, ofcourse, all the communication is based on assumptions & desk research So it's definitely going to change & evolve over time as I get more real-time insights. But this definitely makes everything feel a bit more legit! Still not done though, I need to update a few more things. Day 63/100; Building a design studio publicly. Finally started working on the studio's content, this time in a much more formal way. From my end, I'll have to give them all the research, ideas, and thoughts I have around the oddeasy™ brand for the initial discovery. + My expectations & vision for the content. The best part is that: 1. This is making me think more deeply about the approach, personality, and verbal identity of the studio. And 2, I'm glad to see and realize how most of my initial ideas and assumptions, both in brand and business terms, have been validated, despite the short time frame. (Majorly because the first 2 client projects.) And all of this just makes sense. Also, this exercise got me to think more about the studio's services, packages, & pricing strategies. Spent some time thinking & researching this too. So yeah, I worked on this most of the day. Still not done, because there's a LOT. But it'll be worth spending time on this. Apart from this. One part of my day is totally allocated to client work now, and I imagine it to be like this even beyond the 100 days. I don't like art! But I just want to make and create, and so, I like design. I once read that the beauty of art is that it's subjective; but the beauty of design is, its objective. I want to create illustrations, and animations that make those illustrations, not only sing, but also deliver the intended message for my SaaS clients to their end consumers. Usually with the goal to either buy them more time to focus on other things or to drum up more sales for the product/service. Fortunately and unfortunately art and design can be intertwined. So I'll be here doing both as I know it can be tough executing an idea someone else has in their mind, but for the sake of a happy client, it must be done!
