Divorce may feel like a solitary transition you should handle on your own. But the truth is, no matter how big, strong, or resilient you are, divorce can be incredibly isolating and emotionally draining. Friends, family, and a solid support system are not just optional—they're essential. It's okay to admit that you're struggling, and it's okay to lean on the people who care about you. The support of your loved ones can be your best source of strength during divorce. ____ #familymediationgroup familymediationgroup.ca . . . . . . #divorce #love #self #wellbeing #mentalhealth #health #healthylifestyle #recovery #moveforward #familymediation #familylaw #separation #wellbeing #mentalhealth #selfcare #becauseImediated

Divorce is overwhelming, and the emotional waves can feel endless. But by focusing on the right steps, you can move forward with strength and peace. ❤️🩹 💆♀️ Self-Care Routine: Prioritize yourself. Small acts—like taking a walk, reading, or meditating—can bring comfort and help you reconnect with who you are. 🤝Lean on Your Support Group: Let friends and family help you even when you don’t know how to ask. Let yourself be loved and supported by your tribe. 🎯Focus on Your Goals: Keep the main thing the main thing. Think about what you’re trying to build in your life, and let that be your anchor, even on tough days. 🌊 Ride Your Own Waves: You don’t have to take on every emotion. Let the feelings come and go; reminding yourself that this too shall pass. You’re not alone and every step forward counts. My new course, My Confident Divorce will be available very soon! One mistake that 80% of divorcees are doing is: Living in divorce guilt! Many partners feel guilty after they file for divorce. But here's a way you can overcome that situation: ✓ Acknowledge It: No one walks into a marriage with divorce in mind. Life happens & like many other things divorce also happens. ✓ Forgive Yourself: Forgive yourself for past choices and enjoy the chance for a new beginning. Forgive yourself & your ex ✓ Seek Support: Talk to a therapist, friend, or your loved ones, you'll surely feel good talking about your feelings. ✅ Conclusion: -Divorce doesn't define you. It's a chapter of your life, not the whole story. -Take ownership of your happiness, and move forward with confidence. So, if you are ready to heal and rewrite the story and you need some support in this journey feel free to DM. #divorce #divorcecoach #mentalhealth #selfcare

Over the years I have helped many people navigate divorce, recover and thrive after separation. These are my top tips for surviving relationship grief. 🌟 Don’t overanalyse the actions of your ex-partner in the months leading up to the relationship separation 🌟 Celebrate singledom 🌟 Find your support network, but for support, not to build your army against your ex 🌟 Allow time in the day to recognise your emotions, but commit to being forward-looking for the rest of the day 🌟 Know logic doesn’t come from emotions 🌟 Exercise (we know this one works) 🌟 Avoid direct contact with your Ex- and remember to change your settings on your social media 🌟 Know you are independent enough to be single 🌟 Seek professional help and support if negative emotions are overwhelming or you need an independent sounding board to talk through where you are at 🌟 Remove photos and sentimental items that drive you back into a negative place 🌟 Focus on what you can learn from the ex-relationship rather than judging 🌟 Acknowledge the breakup with your ex- may just be the start as there will be other relationships lost 🌟 Letting go will make you stronger I would love to see your suggestions in the comments below!! 🙏🙏 #divorce #divorcecoaching #divorcefinancialplanning
