Day 12: Don’t Miss the Journey “Sometimes, we’re so focused on the finish line that we forget to appreciate the steps it takes to get there.” - Kia Ruun Farunjima Day 12, and today I’m taking a step back to think about the journey itself. In our drive to reach the next goal, the next milestone, or the finish line, it’s easy to miss the moments that make the journey worthwhile. But here’s the truth: the journey is where the real growth happens. It’s in the challenges we overcome, the small victories along the way, and even the setbacks that make us stronger. The finish line might be the goal, but every step leading up to it is what shapes us. Today, I’m focusing on embracing where I am right now. The journey might be unpredictable, sometimes messy, but it’s ours to experience fully. Here’s to appreciating each step, every lesson, and all the moments that make the journey meaningful. #30DaysOfInspiration #EnjoyTheJourney #GrowthMindset #PresentMoment #AppreciateTheProcess

1st Place: Bagging the top spot is like being the life of the party who arrives with the most epic snacks. You're showered with glory, high-fives, and earn the coveted title of "Supreme Overlord of Awesomeness." Basking in the limelight, you can strut around like a peacock while everyone wonders, “How did they even do that?!” It's your moment to claim bragging rights and maybe even sport a crown made of pizza—because, why not? 2nd Place: Securing the second position is akin to playing the role of the sidekick in a superhero movie. You receive some acknowledgment, but mostly it's accompanied by a tinge of sympathy that might score you some free snacks. While everyone offers a pat on the back, deep down, you sense they're recalling how you stumbled right before the finish line. You earn the "I tried" badge, essentially a sticker whispering, “Better luck next time, champ!” In summary: 1st place shines as the star of the show, while 2nd place resembles the backup dancer—still enjoyable but contemplating ways to steal the spotlight next time! Just a friendly heads-up: #Avelia, The only double-deck high-speed train globally. Period! #MobilityByNature #TeamAlstom #HighSpeed #highspeedtrains #highspeedrail

I say something like this all the time. Anyone can show up to a party; everyone is in for a good time. It’s the real people who keep the lights on. The same can be said of leaders. Real leaders allow you to have boundaries. Real leaders hear you when you say being a parent first is a priority. Real leaders empathize with you when life is hard and support you. Real leaders ride the bus.
Real friends ride the bus. 🙌🏼

Patience and perseverance is grossly underestimated! Extremely smart and intelligent team members tend to loose the initial value they bring when they dont have these two qualities and averagely smart team members with little or no skills, but with a high level of patience, perseverance and commitment to growing tend to acquire all the skills and intelligence they need and become extremely valuable to a team over time! Patience and perseverance is grossly underestimated! Always better to Play the long term game!
Found this video and it made me want to share this reminder. There is no such thing as overnight success. Everyone you see thriving today has invested countless hours to hone their skills and sharpen their craft. Serena Williams won her first Grand Slam in 1999 after playing professionally for five years. If she had given up in her second year, she wouldn’t be the icon she is today. Play the long game.
