📌 #TriangularCooperation exemplifies the type of collaboration that is both transformative and future-oriented, creating a win-win for all parties, said Lígia Figueiredo, Director for Multilateral and European Cooperation of Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I.P., during today’s #MomentoADELANTE dialogue organized together with the EU’s ADELANTE UE ALC. Through Triangular Cooperation, we have been able to go beyond traditional Portugese speaking countries, she noted, and are now working with partners across the world, connecting institutions across Latin America with Africa to share #SouthSouth solutions to pressing development challenges. The new Triangular Cooperation Window represents an opportunity to create synergies and scale up opportunities. Ms. Figueiredo encouraged all partners to join Portugal in contributing to the new Window.

🌟 Meet  Ammar Alok speaker for the event Voices of Victory, Chapter Oslo🌟 In Norway, like every other immigrant Ammar embarked on a journey that included learning Norwegian and integrating into Norwegian society. However, what sets him apart is his enthusiasm for exploring new ideas and actively contributing to the community. He initially launched a project called "Sanadak" (Arabic for "your supporter"), which didn't go as planned. However, he quickly pivoted to a new idea, "Reuse Me," focused on textile recycling and creating job opportunities for immigrants and refugees who face language and integration barriers. Recognizing the need for a deeper understanding of the Norwegian market, consumer behavior, and proficiency in the Norwegian language, Ammar took steps to enhance his knowledge. He pursued specialized studies in accounting, payroll, and the Norwegian tax system to gain insights into the economic dynamics within companies and prepare for potential challenges. A significant lesson from him is the importance of consistency and perseverance. One should never give up on oneself; instead, one should strive for consistency to achieve success.
