It’s a sobering reality that one-third of the world’s food goes to waste 🗑 A question we often hear is: “But doesn’t bioethanol production compete with food supply?” or “Are you using food crops to make fuel?” The short answer: No. Quick Facts: 🌎 Bio-ethanol production using corn coexists with the production of animal feed (Distillers Dried Grains) -- where the protein goes back into the food supply chain. 🌎 It's Dent corn, not Food corn! Bio-ethanol is made from dent corn, which is different from the sweet corn you see on the dinner table. Good oil makes Good meals. Let's make palm oil from scratch. 😁 Palm oil is in nearly everything we consume. It's in close to 50% of the packaged products we find in supermarkets, everything from pizza, doughnuts and chocolate, to deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste and lipstick. It's also used in animal feed and as a biofuel in many parts of the world. Though it can be strenuous but it's quite a productive and sustainable business. This oil is locally sourced and processed.
