🌟 Had a fantastic time at the conference last week! A key takeaway from our conversations with universities was the importance of knowing when to act. Building Management Systems (BMS) are powerful for integrating vast amounts of information, but in a sea of data, identifying the moments that require action can be challenging. That’s where our technology steps in! Our solutions don’t just monitor fire detection but can monitor any critical infrastructure – whether it’s suppression systems, access control, generators, freezers etc... We turn this data into action, pinpointing the location of a problem and facilitating safer and more efficient responses. 🚀 We also discussed how the complexities of asset management on campus make it hard to maintain a clear inventory view. This lack of clarity complicates compliance and decision-making around asset lifecycle management and in particular the need to stay on top of life safety compliance like routine fire door inspections. On October 4, 2024, in an online workshop, EuroCC Austria and EuroCC SLING, together with MultiXscale, will explain the European Environment for Scientific Software Installations (EESSI), how it is being designed, how to access it, and how to use it. From January 28th to 30th in Bergisch Gladbach, in collaboration with contour Veranstaltungsservice GmbH, Meyer Sound is offering training sessions on Portable System Deployment and Low Frequency Control. Both sessions will be conducted in German by Michael Pohl from Meyer Sound's European Technical Support team.   The 2-day Portable System Deployment course equips participants with the knowledge needed to deploy mobile live sound systems effectively, covering everything from initial system design to final measurement and verification, with practical demonstrations using Meyer Sound systems and tools.   The 1-day Low Frequency Control course blends theory and hands-on exercises, addressing key considerations for working with Meyer Sound LFC subwoofers.   For more information and registration, visit: https://lnkd.in/gtENjtfW

SERDP & ESTCP are investing considerable resources into large-scale field demonstrations of #PFAS destruction technologies. A new cohort of projects will be demonstrating technologies for destruction of PFAS in soils and sediments. As part of this cohort, Dr. Yang Yang at Clarkson University, aims to develop a prototype mobile system capable of destroying PFAS, targeting low PFAS concentrations.
