Environment Network Manawatū (ENM) exists to connect and inspire communities for environmental action. They are the environment hub for the Manawatū region providing sector leadership, building capacity and capability, and creating community. ENM were one of the first to initiate a fund through Te Awa called, the 'Kai Security Fund' and the Growing Gardens & Communities is just one of the initiatives this fund can support. ENM celebrates and promotes the diverse passions of their 65+ member groups, which include biodiversity regeneration, freshwater quality, food resilience, waste reduction, sustainable living, alternative energies, climate change and active transport. The network is organised into two collectives: Manawatū Food Action Network and Manawatū River Source to Sea. Aware of this critical need, we set out to provide sustainable solutions that would not only provide clean water but also minimize environmental impact. 💡 Through our fundraising efforts and the generous support of individuals like you, we successfully raised funds to implement water filtration systems for the community.
