Early detection is crucial for improving survival rates in CRC. When detected early, the 5-year survival rate is 90%. However, this rate drops to less than 20% when the disease is found in its later stages. Encourage your patients to get screened regularly, as early detection can significantly improve their prognosis. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3Kp6ncO #EarlyDetection #MensHealthMonth

World Hepatitis Day is observed annually on July 28th to raise awareness about viral hepatitis, which causes inflammation of the liver and can lead to severe liver disease and cancer. The day aims to educate the public about the different types of hepatitis (A, B, C, D, and E), promote testing and prevention, and advocate for better access to treatment and care for those affected. This year’s theme is: It’s time for action. With a person dying every 30 seconds from a hepatitis-related illness, we must accelerate action on better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment to save lives and improve health outcomes. #hepatitis #worldhepatitisday #cancer #hepatitisc #hepatitisb #awareness
