The Richard George Foundation Story: A Vision to Ignite Africa's Future "I’ve always believed that Africa’s greatest wealth isn’t found in its natural resources, but in its people – especially its youth." Richard George(He4She)MSc,ACMI , IOSHTech (United Kingdom) This is the story of the Richard George Foundation, born from a bold vision to transform Africa’s future by empowering its youth. Africa holds the youngest population in the world, with over 60% of its people under 25. But for too many, the doors to education, skills, and entrepreneurship remain closed. With this vision, the Richard George Foundation was created — a catalyst for change makers, built around three key pillars, the foundation is on a mission to break down the barriers that hold young Africans back through: Skills Acquisition and Development of Young African Graduates: We’re not just offering training; we’re building futures. By equipping graduates with skills and practical knowledge, we’re preparing them to lead in industries that will define Africa’s tomorrow. Education for Social Change: Education isn’t just about what you learn, it’s about what you become. We are reimagining education to be a force for social change, empowering youth to think critically, innovate boldly, and solve the challenges of their generation. Entrepreneurial Investment: Africa’s most powerful resource is its young entrepreneurs. By investing in their ideas and fueling their businesses, we are creating jobs, transforming communities, and fostering a new generation of African leaders. "The future doesn’t just happen — we build it, one mind, one idea, one opportunity at a time." Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a visionary, or a leader, you can be part of the movement. Together, we can unlock Africa’s limitless potential and ignite the spark that will shape the continent’s future. #rgf #visionafrica #personalgrowth #development #growth #empoweringleaders #changemakers #changeleaders #globalchangeleaders #raisingchangemakers #traininganddevelopment #youthdevelopment #sdg

According to the official website of the African Union, AfCFTA is one of the fifteen flagship projects of The Africa Agenda 2063. Agenda 2063 is, in the exact words of the AU, the ‘Africa’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future’. It is a 50-year roadmap the 55 African States endorsed during the Golden Jubilee (50 years) celebrations of the formation of the OAU /AU in May 2013 to guide Africa’s socioeconomic transformation from 2013 to 2063. As an entrepreneur, I see the AfCFTA as a transformative force with the potential to unlock unprecedented opportunities for African enterprises. However, I also acknowledge that this won’t happen without setbacks. This article briefly explores the potential benefits and challenges of implementing the African Continental Free Trade Area for African Entrepreneurs: https://lnkd.in/dzjk7rqS. Thank you. And keep it #Miklah always.

Young people are leading the charge in digital adoption and #innovation, with three-quarters of those aged 15 to 24 using the internet in 2022, a rate higher than other age groups. However, disparities persist, particularly in low-income countries and among young women, who often have less access to the internet and #digital skills compared to their male counterparts. While there is an urgent need to enhance digital inclusion, youth are largely recognized as “digital natives,” using technology to drive change and create solutions. As the 2030 deadline for the SDGs approaches, the role of young people in digital innovation is essential for addressing global issues. By celebrating the digital contributions of youth, we can inspire further innovation and collaboration towards achieving sustainable development.
🌍 Happy International Youth Day! 🌍 At Jarumi Ventures Africa, we are thrilled to celebrate this day, dedicated to recognizing the power and potential of youth around the world. As a company committed to driving innovation and sustainable development, we believe that investing in young people is key to shaping a brighter future for Africa. Our youth are not just leaders of tomorrow—they are changemakers today. We're excited to continue our work in empowering young minds, fostering entrepreneurship, and creating opportunities that enable the next generation to thrive. Let's keep the momentum going and work together to build a world where every young person can reach their full potential. #InternationalYouthDay #YouthEmpowerment #SustainableDevelopment #JarumiVenturesAfrica AfricanUnion Africa Youth IGF The Africa Youth Conversation The Youth Cafe Fred Swaniker Mary Yvonne Ododah David Ziro achaleke christian leke Harun Mwadena Muyesi
