When you talk of dieting, most people think that you have to give up carbs, alcohol, takeaways, chocolate, And only eat foods like chicken, rice, broccoli etc.. ..But luckily, this is FAR from the truth. Imagine having to go for 16 weeks without a food that you used to eat everyday before you started your diet because you loved it that much, Would you really be able to do that..? Or even want to? Probably not if we're being honest. This is why so many people fail to lose fat, because they over-restrict themselves, Then they either give up or constantly over indulge with the promise of starting again ‘tomorrow’. So what's the best approach to fat loss..? It's actually to KEEP the things you like in, instead of being restrictive. Losing fat all comes down to being in a calorie deficit, and if you can fit that slice of cake or pizza into your day then by all means do so, But this is also why you need to understand nutrition. You could have cake everyday.. but it's very high in calories and low in nutrients — you'll feel like you've just eaten air after having 500 calories worth of it, Which is why it's generally recommended to eat mostly healthy foods when you're dieting as they actually fill you up. A good approach is to get 80% of your calories from healthy foods, eat 1.5-2g of protein per pound of bodyweight, and for the remaining 20%, have the treats of your choice. ..And as long as you stay in a calorie deficit, you don't have to worry, because you will be losing fat. #FatLoss #Health #HighPerformance
