These projects, identified as pivotal under the Horizon Europe and Digital Europe programmes, align with the EU's broader objectives to reduce reliance on external players and foster innovation within Europe. The Sovereignty Seal highlights high-potential initiatives that exceed EU funding thresholds but lack financial coverage, providing a pathway for alternative investment opportunities. There are future trends & opportunities in the energy, construction & climate resilience sectors that came out from this discussion: ⚡️ The energy sector needs to be clean and cleaner. Mega-trends include making clean #energy more affordable. ⚡️ The importance of thinking about the whole life cycle - from the production of materials to their end of life (or further!). ⚡️ In energy, backup and new solutions are the trends that are needed and it is a complex issue. Innovation paves the way for better coexistence 🐠 The SubSea Quieter system reduces underwater noise. Our member ⭐ Greenov ⭐is a French company dedicated to develop CleanTech solutions. The SubSea Quieter® system is a noise abatement technology which aims to impede the transmission of underwater noise from works operations in the marine environment. The SubSea Quieter® system is based on a multi-layer membrane into which a fine particle of air is injected to create a barrier to the sound waves. In March 2024, a 10m long and 5m diameter demonstrator was successfully tested in maritime conditions in the Port of Saint-Nazaire (France). -Greenov has created a Join Industrial Partnership (JIP) to accelerate the technical develomments and tests of the Offshore SubSea Quieter dedicated to offshore monopile and jackets fundation.
