Leading building materials and construction solutions provider Tarmac has published its annual sustainability report for 2023. The report records the progress made against the ambitions set out in Tarmac’s Act sustainability strategy in 2022 and its three central themes of People, Planet, and Solutions. Aligned to Tarmac’s commercial strategy and corporate purpose, the three key themes continue to remain central to its business operations and customers.

I've used the "hitting a moving target" phrase quite a bit over the years and I was asked to write a few words on developing a robust sustainability strategy for edie - following the release of our annual sustainability performance. Several noteworthy stories emerged from the building and construction sector: Would you like coffee with your concrete? Arup's sustainable concrete practices helped them earning the top spot in the Professional Services category. https://lnkd.in/euxpcM2p How to get to net zero with recycled building rubbish Nu-Rock Building Products won the Property & Construction category with their innovative low-carbon construction blocks made from coal ash, a byproduct of coal power stations.
