🌟 Be the Change You Wish to See in Your Community 🌟 As I sit here, reflecting on my journey with Flower In The Wind Therapy in 2024, I am reminded of the teachings from my Blackfoot-Metis heritage: to walk this earth softly with kindness, compassion, and empathy. These values are the foundation of my practice and my life. If you long for a world with less negativity, lateral violence, and discrimination, it starts with us. It begins with being leaders in our lives, showing kindness when it's hard, offering compassion when it's scarce, and standing up for respect in every interaction. To those reading this, I'd like to invite you to reflect on your own journey. How can you be the change in your community? It doesn't have to be grand gestures; sometimes, the quietest actions have the loudest echoes. Let's walk this path together with kindness, empathy, and respect for all our relations, including Mother Earth. 🌍 Thank you for being part of this journey. Let's make a difference, one step at a time. #Flowerinthewindtherapy #indigenoustherapist #mentalwellness #indigenouswellness #bethechangeyouwishtosee #leadership

Humpday Notes: Sudden Thoughts: How can we embody the leadership, compassion, and hope shown on September 11th to inspire freedom, unity, and positive change in our own communities? 🕊️ Honoring September 11th: A Day of Leadership, Hope, and Compassion On this solemn day, we honor the countless lives impacted by the events of September 11th, 2001. We remember the heroes who led with courage and compassion, showing us that even in moments of darkness, the light of hope can guide us forward. 💔 Their actions remind us that true freedom is not just the absence of fear, but the presence of unity, understanding, and shared humanity. Leadership means more than rising in crisis—it’s about fostering compassion, standing up for others, and believing in the power of hope to heal and rebuild. As we reflect today, let us carry forward the legacy of those who showed us what it means to lead with heart. May we continue to nurture communities where compassion, freedom, and hope prevail over fear and division. #NeverForget #HopeInLeadership #CompassionAndFreedom #UnitedInResilience #CMS #cmsleadership

As pastors and church leaders, we all know how important it is to be ready for our calling. I used to believe that the more time I needed, the less skilled I was. That the longer my preparation took, the further I was from being a capable leader. But life taught me otherwise. When I dedicated myself to serving the Lord, I realized that preparation is not about how much time you have, but about making the most of the time you’re given. Right now, you might feel overwhelmed, thinking you need years of training to be effective. But let me assure you, with the right preparation, even a novice can shine brightly. Here’s the powerful truth: If you give yourself enough runway, you will not only take off, but soar higher than you ever thought possible. How do we ensure that we are well-prepared? By empowering ourselves, investing in our growth, and never stepping into the pulpit unprepared. Just like I said in our latest episode, "One of the ways that we set them up to win is if we give them a long runway." Your long runway is your time to prepare, pray, learn, and perfect your craft. It’s about unlocking the potential within you through dedication and commitment. When you lean into this preparation, you begin to transform. Not only do you gain confidence, but you also reflect that readiness to your congregation. Your message becomes clearer, your impact stronger, and your ministry flourishes. God has entrusted you with His mission. Equip yourself, stand tall, and step into your role fully. Let’s promise ourselves to never shortcut our preparation. The time and effort you invest today will yield a harvest of blessings and growth for your church tomorrow. You are not alone in this journey. Simple Systems Consulting is here to guide and support you, offering tools and training designed to help you grow and lead effectively. So let’s commit to the process, utilize our time wisely, and prepare ourselves thoroughly. Your ministry deserves the best version of you. Let's give it nothing less. #ChurchLeadership #PastorLife #ChurchGrowth #MinistryTraining #FaithJourney #Empowerment #SimpleSystemsConsulting #ChurchCommunity #PreparationIsKey
