Deal of the 21st Century?    Maybe not quite that far, but according to an article in today's The Irish Times, Great-West Life got a pretty good deal when they bought Irish life from the government back in 2013, with the Irish Life insurance company (and subsidiaries) paying back €1.73bn back in dividends (+€400m than the €1.3bn they paid 11 years ago).    Also with Irish Life's profit jumping 80% last year to €481m that #ROI looks like it will keep improving #nice.   I just need to work out how to get the initial €1.3bn, then I'm sure I'll be flying…..   #IrishLife #GreatWestLifeco #dividends #financialperformance #growth #acquisition #wealthmanagement #insurance #goodnews
