Despite advancements, there's still an overdiagnosis of indolent #ProstateCancer (iPCa) using the PI-RADS system, leaving room for improvement in identifying clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa). This recent systematic review, published by #AndreaAntolin from Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) - Vall d'Hebron Institut de Recerca, sheds light on the potential of radiomics—both handcrafted and deep—in distinguishing between high-risk and low-risk lesions. #FLUTEproject #HorizonEU #FederatedLearning

🐾 New Study Saturday🐾 At the University of Termao, CHF-funded researchers are examining specific receptors linked to the progression of bone cancer. Understanding the changes in these receptors may help explain why some cells are more or less sensitive to current treatments and hopefully open up new chemotherapy treatment options.
