(secretly hoping to continue this streak) In this one, I go down memory lane to when I was binging on the IMDB top 250 movie lists for days together, aware of them being 'copied' (a milder word for pirated) but not guilty about it. My editing team thought that was a great hook lol... But in all seriousness, we will all at some point in our lives in our relationships get into arguments with the people we care about. There's 3 powerfully simple steps I would take to help diffuse the situation and move towards a resolution. 1. Acknowledge the emotions of the other person 2. Clarify the problem 3. Explore solutions together And a BONUS tip for repairing relationships from arguments is to be careful not to use "YOU" statements, and use "I" statements instead. For example instead of saying "YOU made me feel upset when you did that" you can say "I felt angry upset when you did that" This approach allows the other person not to feel attacked and get defensive, which is necessary to achieve a mutual understanding and resolve arguments more gracefully.
