The European Commission has published the timeline for the evaluation of the EU Public Procurement Directives for the non-defence sectors: https://lnkd.in/gWK6A79X The aim is to assess whether over the past ten years the 2014 Directives have achieved their objectives in terms of fostering fair competition, simplifying procurement processes and achieving strategic goals (including innovation procurement). The call for evidence and public consultation is planned to be published in the coming weeks (Q4 2024). The Commission counts on public buyers, businesses, trade unions and civil society to contribute to the consultation process.
