Transforming food systems, one solution at a time I’m heading to New York today with @Lars Holmquist and @Gilles Tisserand for #ClimateWeekNYC. This year, we’re urging governments to address the entire agri-food chain, including the ‘hidden middle’ between the farm gate and consumer, which often gets overlooked and is where our portfolio of processing solutions can have a big role to play in supporting food systems transformation. Unlocking this with the right, incentive-driven policies could make a world of difference, including releasing the potential of food processing solutions. This impact shouldn’t be underestimated, because improving and upgrading processing infrastructure is a win-win for both industry and consumers, reducing food loss and waste, helping nutritious products reach a wider global population, and delivering savings and benefits for food producers.
