This is evident with the recent approval of the second phase of Dubai's heritage architecture project. According to the Dubai Media Office, this initiative aims to protect 35 iconic sites and buildings from the 1960s to the 1990s. It's part of a larger initiative demonstrating the city's commitment to protecting and honoring its cultural and architectural heritage that help to tell the story of Dubai's past. From both a human and a PM perspective, I love this. By preserving heritage buildings, we gain unique insights into enduring construction techniques and materials that have stood the test of time. This type of knowledge is invaluable in modern construction, helping us to create innovative and resilient structures.
