🎄Teufelberger supports the ISZ 🎄 At this year's Advent market of the Integrative School Centre, our HR colleagues Christian Nörpel and Kristina Schmöller presented a donation cheque for 2,100 to the headmistress Manuela Rittenschober. 🎄🎁 The donation was collected as part of an internal initiative at the Austrian locations: the Wels-based family business donated five euros for each completed employee survey questionnaire. Part of the financial support will go towards therapy materials for children with disabilities. For children and young people, finding the words to describe how they are feeling can be a challenge. Also, they may not be able to recognise what they find difficult or why they behave the way they do. BSIA members MAN COMMERCIAL PROTECTION LIMITED has raised over £20,000 to be shared primarily across three Midlands charities who help seriously ill children, families and people with mental health issues. Keen to mark their recent 30th anniversary by giving back to the communities it operates in, the company will be donating to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Hope House Children’s Hospice and Walk Talk Action. As I work to aid Charitable children institutions in transitioning towards family and community care, I often come across organizations dealing with children aging out of the care system. These children often lack independent living skills and encounter numerous obstacles, sometimes without supportive community networks. It's disheartening that they have to leave the system without the support and love of a family. Facilitating the search for suitable families for these children is crucial in ensuring their continued growth and well-being beyond institutional care. #carereform #familycare
