What I love about this campaign is that it has allowed us to create memories and unite extraordinary people who may never have met without this shared cause. One proud moment was gathering over 30 of Chicago's trailblazing founders and VCs to support the Harris-Walz campaign—driven by a shared purpose and a commitment to a stronger future. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Manuela Zoninsein and Andy Dunn for their warm hospitality and to everyone who made the evening unforgettable. We were honored to welcome Samir Mayekar, former Deputy Mayor of Chicago and a champion for the city’s startup ecosystem, who shared powerful insights on navigating the Covid crisis and Kamala Harris’s vision for supporting small businesses. We are incredibly grateful to Richard Garcia for his exceptional leadership in empowering small businesses and to Chandra Chouhan for her impactful work in Wisconsin, guiding us on the ground—a testament to the power of collective effort. I was proud to co-host the reception alongside Ibrahim Rashid, MPP, National Chair of Muslims for Harris, and to stand with this incredible community as a Co-Chair of Founders for Kamala.
