Since this is a leading #retaiI event and #EFI might have been the only #packaging company to attend, I wanted to share some relevant trends and how they connect to packaging. 1. #RetailMedia is projected to be $100B in ad sales by 2027!!!! On Box Advertising #OBA is a unique ad channel to #RMNs and should be a part of the advertising mix. 2. Gen Z responds to "In Real Life" #IRL experiences. What part of the #ecommerce journey is IRL? The #unboxing experience!!!! 3. #Loyalty programs matter. Loyalty enrollment CTAs that are directly printed onto the ecommerce shipper box will outperform other channels (inserts, digital, etc.). 4. #Brandmarketing is still important and enjoying a resurgence (vs performance). Over the last six months with businesses like restaurants, retail stores, pet shops, and spas … it has become evident they are used to legacy messaging displays that are ripe for connected digital adoption. Some of the common issues we saw - Static one time messaging - Expensive & cumbersome to change messaging - Low visibility at night - Lack of space for fixed display - Digitally disconnected - No portability - No experimentation With Paveo one of the constant message we see is that whatever is on the digital displays always sells out :).
