Idea 19. We should have basic self defence training, first aid training, good touch -bad touch training given to all students at an early age. Every person in India needs to know basic self-defence techniques so they can protect themselves if they face some untoward incident. This needs to be taught not just to school students but especially to adolescent girls. First-aid training is given to school students in the West but not in Indian schools. Students need to be taught how to use fire extinguisher, what to do if there is a first degree burn, what to do if there is an earthquake suddenly, or if someone drowns, or there is fire in the kitchen etc. These practical life saving skills is a must in Indian schools. For kids, since statistics reveal that both boys and girls in India are equal victims of sexual harassment, they need to be taught the difference between good touch and bad touch and encourage them to speak up if this happens. Some top private schools in India do focus on these skills but most government schools don’t. This needs to be made mandatory across schools in India. #100days100idea

The School Support Program (SSP) is a crucial initiative within the Social Lab NP , implemented in partnership with MADEC Australia. One key aspect is our support for school meal programs in disadvantaged primary schools in remote areas of Southern Lalitpur. Despite the transition to federalism, education remains neglected at the local level. My recent experience at the grassroots level has shown me that Local Government (LGs) still rely heavily on development agencies for social development. Unfortunately, education, health, and other social sectors are not prioritized, with LGs failing to allocate sufficient funds for educational improvement. The allocation of Rs 15 per student per meal is keeping primary schools at edges. Worst is how the other segments of education has been overlooked with a least focus on pragmatic solutions and more on idealistic approaches. Until there is a significant shift, parents' perceptions of these schools will likely remain unchanged and low-key. We were walking long distances for our education 20km and more in rural Zambia,our education was not free we were paying for it,we had less materials and tools for usage in our education journey,and there was no free feeding program at our schools but with empty stomach's we learned,when you look at the quality of our education you'll see that indeed they have been educated, this time they have free education policy,they have free feeding program at their schools,they don't walk long distances, they have got a millions of materials and tools for usage (including internet) but look at the quality when they finish school,they're totally junkies. Some free things yes is good on the upside but too much of Free things has dangerous consequences in the future,to the downside,if we are not careful, with this free everything in educating our today's children,we are creating a society of people who will be lazy because they'll think everything in life is free and they're going to become total socialists.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝙈𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗽𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
