I had the privilege of attending the #CEO #Roundtable organized by #GTAI in collaboration with #VDMA India on January 27, 2025, at the Hotel Shangri-La in Bangalore. The focus of our discussions was on #Germany #Unlocked: Business Opportunities in Digital Economy and Smart Manufacturing." This event marked a significant step by Germany to attract Indian industries to expand and establish their presence in Germany. With India ranking third in the APAC region for the number of FDI projects in Germany, it's clear that our nations are poised for growth together. Key sectors such as digitization, mobility, electronics, and robotics continue to draw substantial investments, making this an exciting time for collaboration. As a founder of Trinnovations, focused on the industrial automation sector, I found this roundtable particularly relevant. Germany is recognized as a leading industrial location, especially for smart manufacturing systems. International companies entering Germany gain direct access to Europe's largest manufacturing market and a unique landscape for R&D and innovation. The event featured esteemed speakers including Achim Burkart Consul General; Seema Bhardwaj, Director of GTAI; @Peggy Görlitz, Investor Consulting Automation & Robotics at GTAI; and Asha-Maria Sharma, Investor Consulting at GTAI. Additionally, @Dr. Umesh Mhatre shared his inspiring journey of establishing a plant in Germany, while @Rajesh Nath from VDMA welcomed us with warmth and hospitality. This gathering of CEOs from across Bangalore was not just informative but also an incredible opportunity to explore global expansion avenues. I left feeling inspired and motivated to take bold steps towards international growth. Here’s to new beginnings and forging strong partnerships! #GermanyUnlocked #FDI #SmartManufacturing #DigitalEconomy #IndoGermanCooperation #Trinnovations #GlobalExpansion

What will be some of the trends to look forward to in 2025 for the India based GCCs? Along with a hyper focus on innovation and providing a global leadership in product and technology spaces from within the existing centers, there will also be a huge number of opportunities for the GCCs to be set up/extended to the tier 2 and 3 cities within India. Some operations can be de-centralized and a tremendous potential in terms of emerging untapped talent, ever improving infrastructure, local government initiatives and cost advantage can be realised for these locations. For more insights on the emerging trends for India based GCCs in 2025, please read thru the blogpost below by InOrg Global, where I along with some of the industry peers and experts have shared our thoughts on the same. #GCCTrends #Innovation Nicole de Mocskonyi https://lnkd.in/dp-ZHv_C

Exciting news from the Indian Business Summit in Karlsruhe on July 17, 2024! We had the privilege of interviewing several of our esteemed speakers about their views on India and the dynamic relationship between Baden-Württemberg and Maharashtra. Here are some insightful perspectives from Dr Florian Stegmann, Minister of State and Head of the State Chancellery, Baden-Württemberg. 📌 Registration: Register via this link to secure your place! This event offers you the opportunity to learn from experts and entrepreneurs who will share their experiences and best practices. Network and get valuable tips on market entry and business practices in India. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gPGsaR2V 1. Why did you decide to participate in the India Business Day in Karlsruhe? India has become an indispensable partner for the German economy and, above all, for our companies in Baden-Württemberg. It is a personal concern of mine that politics stays closely in touch with companies, as this is the only way we can set the right course for successful economic cooperation. Especially in view of the increased influx of skilled workers from India, maintaining close contact with our economy is essential. 2. When you think of India, what's the first event that comes to your mind? I particularly remember visiting a Siemens training workshop in Mumbai during my delegation trip in February. I saw the shining eyes of the young trainees, who were striving towards a better future with full vigour thanks to the qualifications they had gained there. 3. What improvements do you believe are necessary in the relations between Maharashtra and Baden-Württemberg? Through our long-standing state partnership, we have already created a strong connection. The relationship between Maharashtra and Baden-Württemberg has grown very close and friendly. Together we cooperate and talk openly. I was also able to personally welcome Mr. Kesarkar, Minister of Education, and Mr. Samant, Minister of Industry, with a delegation from India. The focus was on the recruitment of skilled workers, an important political step to support companies from Baden-Württemberg and to counteract the shortage of labor and skilled workers in the long term. #IndianBusinessSummit #GlobalBusiness #IndiaGermanyRelations #BadenWürttemberg #Maharashtra #IndiaBoardKarlsruhe #TheLaend #IndiaInChange #BusinessDay #IHKKarlsruhe #IndoGermanBusiness THE LÄND Baden-Württemberg International (BW_i) Staatsministerium Baden-Württemberg Stadt Karlsruhe

Swedish media is as interested in India as are Swedish businesses and the Swedish Government. Sweden’s leading business daily Dagens Industri recently carried an in-depth article by senior journalist Malin Mendel. https://lnkd.in/dKMRGCbp The article discusses the growing interest among international companies, including Swedish firms, in India as an alternative to China. This shift is particularly evident in Bangalore, known as India’s Silicon Valley. Factors contributing to this trend include increased risks and geopolitical concerns associated with China, prompting businesses to seek diversification. India’s expanding tech industry and favorable business environment make it an attractive destination for companies looking to reduce their dependence on China. Sr Advisor Saloni Zaveri-Ahluwalia caught up with Malin in Mumbai to get her perspective on #Swedenindiasambandh. Watch this space for more of Malin’s India-reportage.
