When you're starting a business, you've got to develop people that bring different skill sets. Business isn't just about building a product. You gotta be able to account for it. You gotta be able to sell it. And you know, they're different departments. You have to really look at that full picture. When I was just getting started in business and trying to interface with others, really the biggest challenge I had personally was trying to give people the belief that my vision was correct and I could be successful. You got to look for people in different positions within a company that you want to build that have different skill sets that you need. Getting people that all have the same skill set is never going to give you the ability to grow a company. I was fortunate enough to find Alan Pugsley, who was a biochemist and who really understood beer, but he also had a passion for it. So finding people that have a passion and desire to be in and on the team of what you're building is key. I was lucky enough to find Bruce Forsley who had a passion for selling and being involved, you know, very social and had an ability to sell. So when building and starting our original team, having those two players on that team were critical for us building a successful. Hurry. Then they built people under them That created a strong, strong team. Today, I would say outsourcing has never been easier and you can literally outsource almost everything. If you can then search for the leaders in that business or area of expertise and outsource. That's not the worst idea in the world. And at the same time, your vision and passion can get executed. My advice for young entrepreneurs and trying to build and develop your abilities? Is to really look at and self examine what you think you do well and really focus on doing it better than while doing a global expert level. Additionally, what you don't do well, I would outsource time is very valuable and I wouldn't spend a lot of my time trying to set up a a restaurant and you're not real good at designing. Find the right designer. You know you have to pay for that, but find the right people to team up with. You don't have to do everything yourself and. A lot of times people will over manage a circumstance. I'd advise to find people that are really good and orchestrate if you have a clear vision of what you want to accomplish. Hiring for skill versus attitude, I think you've got a really higher for both. You can't have somebody says he can do something or she says he can do something and you test them a few times and they can't try to balance, you know, between skill and passion. But you definitely you need both.
