Truck Rodeo Details:
The Truck Rodeo will be hosted on June 9th, 2024 at Miller Waste Systems in Pickering, Ontario. Registration starts at 7:30am with the event getting underway at 8am.
The Transportation Committee has been hard at work over the past couple of months to present you with another great Truck Rodeo, and now we need you to honour your drivers by nominating them to participate.
There are a limited number of openings, so kindly submit your registration as soon as possible.
This day is intended to show drivers just how important they are to your company, and to this industry. We encourage companies to nominate their drivers to participate and recognize the professionalism that you receive from them.
Companies may nominate up to three of their top drivers, however only the first name will qualify. If space allows, your second and third choices will be eligible to participate.
The course will be specifically designed to test a driver’s excellent skills with different obstacle courses such as, maneuvering through pylons, gates, etc. (2 identical mixer trucks will be provided).
In addition to the obstacle course, drivers will be required to complete a Pre-Trip Inspection (no engine run-up), where deficiencies have to be identified.
SPACE IS LIMITED AND WILL BE BASED ON FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
