In the spirit of reconciliation, Freyssinet Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, air and community. We pay respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. Last week was an important week for the First Nations community. It was also a momentus week for Freyssinet Australia because we launched our first Reconciliation Action Plan. By developing and launching the RAP, we wish to acknowledge the difficult history experienced by the First Nations community and state our commitment to be more proactive in our efforts to be part of the reconciliation process. We will do this by developing closer partnership and engagement with indigenous representatives across various functions of our business activities. We are sincere in wanting to have a positive influence and leave a strong legacy in the local regions where our project sites operate. This Reconciliation Action Plan represents a tangible commitment to: ◾ Show respect by listening and learning from First Nations communities and representatives about their culture, perspective, and aspirations within Australian society. ◾ Take steps to become a preferred employer of First Nations representatives. ◾ Enable First Nations individuals and businesses to fully integrate and participate economically, socially, and psychologically into our company and our modern Australian society. #Reconciliation #Respect #Indigenous #FreyssinetAustralia #Community #ReconciliationActionPlan #TogetherWeGrow
