Question: What is my gender? Answer: Male. Question: How do you know? Answer: Because you have a Penis! 😂😂😂😂. You see, speaking to girls is interesting ! Just be prepared for anything! To make impact, there has to be a strategic shift in mental and self awareness. Indeed we all run the world in our various capacities! Our visit to one of the secondary school in a quest to gather data by sharing questionnaires on menstrual hygiene and sex education we had this amazing conversation! In the survey, it was striking that 60% of girls in the room had neither had an idea on menstrual hygiene and a talk on sex education. This data has given us feedback on areas we should tailor our facilitation approach to achieve our goal: To Empower the Girl 👧 We intend to intervene in this gap by providing Menstrual Pads and sensitization programs on sex education across five schools in Ogun state. To make this a reality, we need 3000 pads! And any donations will go a long way to help these girls in low income communities learn more about themselves, how to navigate these waters when the time comes, successfully complete their studies with a positive and self aware mindset. Kindly send your donations to; Bank Name: Samuel Ubong Account Details : 8166315190 Bank: PalmPay. Thank you. #suffle #intervention #menstruation #menstrualhygiene #fundraising #nonprofit #lowincomecommunities #girlchildempowerment #gender !

Today is Nonbinary Parents Day, a day to recognize and celebrate nonbinary individuals who are parents or guardians. This day is about visibility, representation, and creating supportive spaces for nonbinary parents to share their stories, build community, and gain recognition. In recognition of Nonbinary Parents Day, we're sharing a message from one of our families: "Hi I'm Debbie, I'm in Washington State and Nonbinary Parents Day is so important to me because we are often invisible, especially non-binary femme parents. I often discuss with my 7-year-old daughter about being a non-binary femme and what that means to me. It creates dynamic and inclusive conversations around gender identity, gender expression and gender. I want my daughter to value all genders and being out about who I am is important, to my daughter and to my community in making the world a better and safer place for all of us." —Debbie Carlsen Everyone say hello and show some love! If you’d like to share your family’s story or message, fill out this form: https://lnkd.in/g5AahEj9 and if you’re looking for support, register to our biweekly Trans, Nonbinary, and Gender Non-conforming Parents Support Group with the link in bio. #NonbinaryParentsDay #NonbinaryParents #Nonbinary #FamilyEquality

Last week, my comment piece in the Evening Standard was published in support of their Show Respect campaign, which has raised £500,000 to fund healthy relationships workshops in schools across the capital, reaching an additional 15,000 teenagers. I am proud to share the work of the Everyone's Invited education programme which has reached over 100 schools in 2 years. Our team works tirelessly to support school communities to promote healthy relationships, sexual well-being, and tackle rape culture. The importance of education interventions like ours cannot be understated in a sexual landscape defined by the mainstreaming of hardcore pornography, the digital revolution of the social world and the rise of extremist online misogyny. 1 in 4 women have been raped or sexually assaulted as an adult, totalling approximately 6.54 million women. (Rape Crisis) 9 out of 10 girls have received unsolicited images and been subject to sexist name-calling. (Ofsted report, June 2021). 80% of girls think schools need to do more to support young people’s sex and relationships education. (CPS, 2024) 10% of children are watching porn from as young as 9, and most commonly from 13. (Children's Commissioner, 2023) Young people urgently need our support.

As the year comes to a close, I’m reaching out with a sense of urgency. The work we do at SWOP Behind Bars has never been more critical, and we need your help now to make an even greater impact in 2024. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve made incredible strides this year in supporting incarcerated LGBTQ+ individuals and sex workers. Your contribution has enabled us to: Provide emotional support, safety planning and help craft exit strategies for Sex Workers and Survivors of exploitation, and connect over 10,000 callers with vital resources through our Community Support Line. Expand our National Resource Directory to offer life-changing services across the country. Foster hope and connection by linking 2,500 pen pals with over 10,000 incarcerated sex workers and survivors. Help survivors prepare affidavits for post-conviction relief, bringing them closer to justice. Provide essential identification documents to 35 formerly incarcerated individuals, unlocking their access to housing and services. Offer gap housing to 18 trafficking survivors, ensuring their safety while awaiting critical programs. Facilitate transportation for 9 survivors fleeing violence, helping them find refuge and support in life-saving programs. But the need is still urgent. In 2025, we aim to: Expand our reentry guidance program to support even more individuals as they transition back to society. Launch the Power Outside Survivor Reentry App, a groundbreaking tool that will help returning citizens navigate their reintegration. Build a stronger network of care to support that society often forgets. These goals are ambitious, but they are also critical. The individuals we serve face immense challenges and risks every single day, and without your support, these efforts won’t be possible. Your gift today will help us turn these plans into action—and ensure we can reach those who need us most, right now. Will you increase your support today and help us provide life-saving resources, support, and hope to those who are counting on us? https://lnkd.in/eZxrMgNM

Raising Sexually Faithful Kids Whether it’s pornography, LGBTQ+ ideologies, sexting, or hook-up apps, children are facing a torrent of temptations and dangers in matters of sexuality. This is why Harvest USA is offering a free online course for parents entitled Raising Sexually Faithful Kids. This eight-session course will help you understand what it looks like to proactively teach your children about God’s good gift of sexuality and how to guard that gift against temptations to misuse it in sinful ways. We also want to equip you to know how to respond to your children in love and truth when they start to wrestle with sexual sins of various kinds.
