In addition to the numerous online classes provided, 3MTT Nigeria also gave us the opportunity to learn physically in different tech hubs around the country. We just ended the first week, and I know there is still room for improvement. But let’s look at some small, manageable problems I encountered and observed in my community: 1) 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: Fellows and trainers struggled to stay within allocated time for sessions. 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Design visual timers on the screen that help everyone be on track. 2) 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆: Some fellows have had no prior knowledge of computer system handling, and the basics, and are finding it difficult to understand and navigate through stuff. 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Create a survey with relevant questions to better understand how such fellows can be carried along. 3) 𝗜𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Fellows are always asked at entry point to call out their fellow ID number which leads to delay in signing in, as the fellow involved reaches into their bag or device to call the number off some piece of paper or screen.
