𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸! Tonight, Bafana Bafana showed us all what is possible when strategy and teamwork align... This victory wasn’t just about the final score - it was about the lessons it offers all of us. Whether on the field or in the boardroom, success comes from: 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀 – Each player brought their unique skills, contributing to a collective triumph. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 – Trust is the foundation of effective teamwork. Each pass, each move, spoke of the synergy within the squad. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 – Through challenges and pressure, they kept their eyes on the prize. Bafana Bafana’s performance reminds us that no dream is too big when we work together with determination and unity. In the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 final against Pakistan, Dhoni promoted a young, relatively unknown player, Joginder Sharma, to bowl the final over in a high-pressure situation, with Pakistan needing 13 runs off the last over to win, Dhoni entrusted the ball to young Sharma instead of more experienced bowlers. Joginder Sharma, under Dhoni's guidance and trust, delivered a nerve-wracking over, eventually dismissing Misbah-ul-Haq with just three balls remaining, securing India's victory in the inaugural ICC World Twenty20. Would you trust your young talent in crucial moments? As he hands over the captaincy, a question for all- are we nurturing the next generation enough for that handover which is inevitable? #Leadershipdevelopment #successionplanning

Arshad Nadeem's recent Olympic gold medal win is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s a story of personal grit, determination, and relentless effort against all odds. But let’s be clear: this is not a victory for Pakistan or its government. This is Arshad’s victory—an individual triumph, achieved in spite of the systemic failures that plague our nation. In Pakistan, those who rise to the top do so without the support they deserve. Our athletes, entrepreneurs, and visionaries succeed not because of governmental support, but in spite of the lack thereof. They navigate a landscape riddled with challenges—no sponsorships, no structured guidance, and a system that seems more focused on extracting than enabling. Our policies continue to stifle progress, sucking the life out of those who dare to dream big. While the government remains mired in inefficiency, it is the people of Pakistan who bear the brunt of poor policies. And yet, it is these very people who, through sheer willpower and resilience, manage to shine on the world stage. Arshad's victory is a beacon of hope, but it also serves as a stark reminder of what’s wrong with our system. Let’s celebrate his achievement, but let’s also recognize that it’s time for change. If we want to see more victories like Arshad’s, we need to create an environment that nurtures talent, not one that hinders it. Congratulations, Arshad Nadeem! May your journey inspire others to rise above and succeed, no matter the obstacles. #olympics #arshadnadeem #Pakistan #leadership #inspiration #change

With just a rusty javelin and a patch of uneven ground, Arshad Nadeem won the Olympic gold. His journey began with minimal resources. His training ground was far from ideal, and equipment was scarce. The odds were stacked against him. He faced countless challenges, yet he never gave up. He trained tirelessly ... often improvising with whatever was available. Despite the hurdles, he kept pushing forward, driven by an unwavering belief in his dream. And in the end, his relentless dedication bore fruit. Arshad's victory is not just a personal achievement but an inspiration for many. It’s a reminder that success doesn’t come easily. It requires consistent effort, even when progress seems slow. His journey shows us that true champions are not born with privilege. They are made through: ☑ sheer grit, ☑ determination, and, ☑ an unbreakable spirit. So, let’s embrace our own journeys — however tough they may be. Greatness is within reach for those who refuse to quit. #consistency #success #gold #pakistan

Did MI in 2023 and RCB in 2024 emerge victorious in the WPL? What if I were to disagree 👎 ... I anticipate being subjected to ridicule now. What if I were to suggest that it wasn't solely the two teams that clinched the victory, but rather the leadership of Indian women that secured the cup by outperforming the Australian captains? Consider this: if you examine the captains of the other three teams, it's evident that Australians lead them. In such a scenario, Indian teams hold the upper hand by dominating teams from other countries. Do you agree with this perspective on the WPL?

Last week, news came out that the England Cricket Board appointed Brendon McCullum as their white-ball cricket coach. He is already serving as the red-ball coach and has made England play Test matches with the intensity of one-day internationals. So, what’s next? Will English players start playing 50-over matches in T20 style, and T20s like 10-over games? In the same week, I placed two orders with Zepto, both delivered within 7 to 8 minutes, as their dark store is only 400 meters from my location. I have my concerns—where is the sustainability in both these scenarios? Using polybags is not only a bad practice for sustainability, but leaving no scope of improvement for future generations is also unsustainable. It seems McCullum and the management at #Zepto attended the same lecture from Viru Sahastrabuddhe (Virus), reminding us that life is a race agar tez nahi bhagoge to koi tumhe kuchal ke aage nikal jayega (Life is a race; if you don’t run fast, someone will trample over you and move ahead) https://lnkd.in/g_9gB7JB #Humor #Cricket #Sustainability #Efficiency #Leadership #Innovation

It’s nice to see a brave, eloquent and informed stance from this Australian boxer on this topic. This is the sort of leadership that we need as a society. Early in the piece there was a headline that stated that the Algerian boxer was male and I think it caught many of us out. Me included. It’s not right that a male boxer would be facing a female in competition. But that’s not what happened here. Imane Khalife is female, born female, assigned female at birth, raised as female, identifies as female and has competed as a female through her career, including being beaten by females. She had a naturally occurring genetic abnormality. And in one way or another, so perhaps do many elite athletes who have harnessed their extraordinary genetic ability with years of training, discipline and hard work to lead the world in their field. What it is to be female and what the rules should be for competition are increasingly challenging questions. But in this instance, perhaps we can remember that more important is what it is to be human. And that the kindness, love and acceptance that we can offer each other, is how we can all, ultimately, make the world a better place.
