The world is a chaotic, uncertain place, but this I know for sure: you can always benefit from a little self-compassion. Allow yourself to be "that" person... the kind that cries at a commercial, spills the sauce while cooking dinner, and puts the kids to bed later than expected. Be the kind that doesn't always say the right thing. Stop judging and start loving. You're doing the best you can, and that's enough. It's time to invest in yourself! https://lnkd.in/gRZU7muJ #ThePowerToChange #GaryBreakthru #ReleasingTheHealerWithin

Finding YOUR Simple My husband and I are VERY different people. ESPECIALLY when planning family meals. I would make a list of multiple entrees, a dozen sides, and a half dozen desserts – no matter how many people we were feeding. My husband wants to pick up pizza, or chicken, or sandwiches. For my husband, picking up pizza made it simple. For me, cooking for a small army was the simple path (in part because I used the gathering to substitute for once-a-month cooking, so I knew I’d be freezing meals for future use). Define your simple. Try something different. Practice saying no. Stop creating complications out of your simple. Choose to define your YOUniqueness so you can determine your path so you can walk it out with intentional little bits until you create an abundant life rooted in your BIG DREAMS. It starts with you. When you strip away everything else until you uncover your heartseed then you can be sure to keep it stupid simple. Everything else is just a distraction. #QuoteoftheDay You break the habit of complicated when you make intentional choices to keep it stupid simple. - Kathryn Lang # # # When was the last time you let someone else complicate your simple? Share your thoughts, comments, and tips for how we can keep it simple in a world determined to confuse it with complicated. If you would like to read the full post on keeping it stupid simple, ask for the link to my full post. Thank you to Laura Morlando ~ The Stress Commando for inspiring me to keep it stupid simple :D

Dare to Deviate "If you do what most people do, you'll get what most people get" - Derek Sivers Are you content with settling for average? Let's face it, 'average' does not quite cut it these days. Probability would suggest you are likely to be in debt, overweight, not happy in your job and don't eat your five-a-day. Do not settle for a handful of grapes. Try out nectarines and apples and pears (not Cockney stairs) and all the others fruits and vegetables 🍏🍐🍊 Experiment. Be a little different. Take on the challenge in a new way. Magic happens outside of the ordinary. This is a call to action for individuality and breaking away from the crowd if you desire different or better results. Take my recent cooking adventure, for example: I started making a pasta sauce yesterday and halfway through realised I had no pasta... But I did however find some lasagne sheets. So I tore them up and made a deconstructed lasagne bake. Who knew a mishap could lead to such culinary genius?🍝 And I bet you £1.46💰that I will make it again. Try something a savour the fruits (or pasta) of your labour - I guarantee you will take something away from the experience. #DareToDeviate #EmbraceTheExtraordinary #ForgeYourOwnPath #LifeLessOrdinary #ChallengeAccepted #Betonyourself

"Imagine you’re cooking breakfast and cracking an egg into the pan. As you watch it sizzle, a curious thought pops up: Did this egg exist first, or the chicken that laid it? It’s like asking, Does inspiration lead to action, or does action create inspiration? Just as the egg and the chicken seem forever entwined, in life we find ourselves in cycles that feel just as mysterious. Which comes first—courage or confidence, success or self-belief? As you ponder, you realize the egg-and-chicken question isn't just about breakfast. It's about understanding how things we want often require something we don’t yet have. And so, you wonder, If one has to start the cycle—where do I begin?" This draws parallels between the classic dilemma and the cycles we navigate in life, inspiring reflection on our own starting points.
