I’ve been sharing a lot of inspiration these past couple of months with places to visit during the Holiday season, but can we talk for a minute about places this travel expert recommends AVOIDING during the Holidays? Here are 3 places I love recommending to clients, but for a different time of year: Venice, Italy - As enchanting as Venice is, the holidays can bring overwhelming crowds and rising water levels due to seasonal flooding. The best time to visit is during the late spring (April to June) or early fall (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are more manageable. Bangkok, Thailand - While vibrant and energetic, Bangkok can be extremely chaotic during the holiday season. The sweltering heat combined with the influx of tourists can make for a less-than-relaxing trip. Consider visiting during the cooler months of November to February, when the weather is more forgiving, and you can enjoy the city comfortably. New York City, USA - The Big Apple is a must-see, but the holiday season means higher prices, packed attractions, and frigid weather. Instead, visit in the late spring (April to June) or early fall (September to November) for more pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds, making it easier to explore the city’s many iconic sights and hidden gems. 📌 Save this post for your 2024 or 2025 bucket list travel inspo, and stick around for more travel tips, tricks, and info from an expert. #TravelExperiences #ExploreTheWorld #CustomizedTravel #WrightsMagicalTravels #TravelAgent #Travel #TravelPlanner #TravelAdvisor #Caribbean #Europe #NorthAmerica #AdultsOnly #Travel2024 #Travel2025 #WhereFantasyHappens #Groups #Cruises

How to travel smarter this summer! ☀️ Peak travel season is upon us, and you know what that means. Insane crowds, angry locals, and stressed travellers. Here are 5 things you can do for increased satisfaction: Go for the "off-the-beaten-path" spots: A little research will allow you to find lesser-known towns, villages, and natural attractions with unique experiences and fewer crowds. Who wants to suffer from 40 degree heat in the cities anyway? Travel in the fall: Consider travelling in the upcoming shoulder season with pleasant weather, better deals, and fewer crowds. Trust me, it's way more relaxing. Seek alternative experiences in popular destinations: Even if you go to a popular location, there are ways to avoid the biggest crowds. Opt for sunrise or sunset visits to iconic landmarks, explore local markets and neighbourhoods, or participate in unique activities like cooking classes or guided hikes. Embrace domestic tourism: Think beyond international! What about a staycation? Local parks, forests, and charming small towns often offer stunning scenery, rich history, and a chance to support your local communities. I spend most of summer in Sweden, it's paradise most of the time. Eat smarter: Skip the chains and Insta-famous eateries. Instead, dive into the local culinary scene! Support family-run farms, visit farmers markets, and explore regional fare. This not only avoids crowded tourist areas but also supports local businesses and provides a more authentic cultural experience. What's your best tip for a more satisfying vacation? #ResponsibleTravel #Overtourism #TravelTips #SummerTravel #SustainableTourism #deeptravel #travel 📸 Buddha Eden, a incredible spot hidden away near Obidos, Portugal

Why Smart Travelers Are Skipping Summer in Europe This Year and Opting for September and October Instead As summer approaches in Europe, the allure of sun-soaked beaches and vibrant city escapes beckons travelers from around the globe. However, seasoned adventurers are increasingly choosing to postpone their European vacations to avoid the peak-season crowds and scorching heatwaves that characterize mid-summer. The continent's popular destinations, from Mediterranean coastlines to historic cities, typically experience a surge in visitors during the summer months. While the allure of swimming along dramatic coastlines remains enticing, many travelers are wary of sharing tight spaces with throngs of tourists. Fast forward a few weeks into September and October, and Europe still enjoys warm, pleasant weather with average daily temperatures hovering around a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit. What sets this time apart is the noticeable decrease in tourist numbers, offering a more tranquil and authentic experience of Europe's cultural and natural wonders. Travelers opting for autumnal visits not only escape the summer rush but also benefit from reduced accommodation rates and airfares. Hotels and vacation rentals often offer discounted prices during the s... #Summer #Travelers

Fall travel reminders if you’re taking a trip this cozy season. 📌 Bookmark so you don’t lose track of this! 🍁 Double-check for seasonal closures: Some attractions and businesses may close or reduce hours after summer, so make sure you check ahead of time to avoid any disappointments. 🍁 Be ready for the weather: Depending on where you’re going, don’t forget to pack for chilly evenings and rain. 🍁 Don’t forget about harvest season: It may not be the reason you’re traveling specifically, but don’t forget to add those local farms, orchards, or vineyards to your itinerary! 🍁 Beware of the foliage crowds: Popular leaf-peeping spots can get really crowded, so plan ahead, arrive early, or hunt for those lesser-known spots. 🍁 Take advantage of shoulder season perks: As tourism slows after the summer rush, make sure you’re taking advantage of lower prices, special deals, and more personalized service at hotels, resorts, and tours. 🍁 Remember that days are shorter: Daylight saving time is around the corner, and daylight hours are shorter. This may impact how you put together your itinerary. ➡️ And the ultimate fall travel hack? Working with a travel advisor who‘s got your back (and your itinerary) covered. Remember, my DMs are always open to any and all of your travel questions. #TravelExperiences #ExploreTheWorld #CustomizedTravel #WrightsMagicalTravels #TravelAgent #Travel #TravelPlanner #TravelAdvisor #Carribean #Europe #NorthAmerica #AdultsOnly #Travel2024 #Travel2025 #WhereFantasyHappens #Groups #Cruises

The first month of summer vacation is almost over. Each of us has different preferences when it comes to spending our holidays. Some enjoy traveling to various European countries, others prefer going to the seaside, and still others like an active time in the mountains. I belong to those who enjoy spending time by the sea, combining it with sightseeing. I just returned from a vacation I spent in Italy. I spent the first few days in a small seaside town, followed by a two-day stay in Rome. Some speak highly of this city, while others have negative associations. For me, Rome is beautiful. The breathtaking sights, delicious food, coffee, and ice cream taste exceptional there. One thing I know for sure—no matter what people say, nothing can take away Italy's charm. In the morning, the air is fresh, by noon it's scorching hot with temperatures over 45 degrees and high humidity, but despite the heat, people manage to spend the whole day at the beach. The life of these people is simple. On the beach, you can hear the laughter of children, conversations about the hardships of life, and sometimes even cries through tears. In the evenings, they return home just to have dinner, then refreshed, they go back to the seaside promenade, chatting about what's for lunch the next day. While walking along the beach in the evening, I also saw boats heading out to sea. People work there all night so that locals can have fresh seafood at street markets and stores early in the morning. Despite the economic crisis and many other problems they face, Italians are a cheerful people. They love to celebrate, laugh, and enjoy life. This was not my first visit, and certainly won't be my last. I already have more plans, as I didn't manage to accomplish all I wanted. I love this country, I have many friends there, and I get along quite well in Italian, so I will definitely go back. I've left a short video from this trip. And you, how do you like to spend your vacation? #HolisticHealthClub #TravelIndustry #BusinessTravel #Tourism #Hospitality #TravelBusiness #TravelMarketing #CulturalTourism #TravelExperiences #DestinationMarketing #InternationalBusiness #GlobalTravel #TravelAndTourism #BusinessGrowth #MarketingStrategy #CustomerExperience #Branding #LocalBusiness #GlobalMarket #CulturalDiversity #Networking
