🌟 Celebrating Women's Contributions in Logistics Management 🌟 This picture is more than just a snapshot. It's a reminder of the incredible journey we've had as a team, achieving milestones and breaking barriers in logistics management. Being a woman in this industry isn't always easy, but it's possible to succeed with the right mindset and support. Here are a few tips I've learned along the way: · Embrace Resilience: Stay resilient, learn from setbacks, and keep moving forward. · Build a Strong Network: Surround yourself with a great team and mentors who support your growth. · Stay Positive: Maintain a positive attitude, even in tough times. It not only boosts your morale but also inspires those around you. · Continuous Learning: The logistics industry is dynamic. Stay updated with the latest trends. · Speak Up: Your voice matters. Don't hesitate to share your ideas, insights, and concerns. Your perspective is valuable and can drive positive change. Success isn't just about reaching the top; it's about the journey and the impact you make along the way. #WomenInLogistics #Leadership #TeamSuccess

Recently, Uma Thana Balasingam shared some personal stories that hit home—moments of uncertainty and the powerful lessons she drew from them. She challenged me to rethink how I approach #resilience and self-leadership, and here’s what stuck with me: ✨ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘃𝘀. 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 Following the rules isn’t always the answer. Curiosity can turn even the mundane into a chance to grow. 🔥 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝘃𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Not all challenges are threats. What if they’re raw materials for transformation? 💡 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝘀. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Standing out fades; creating lasting impact doesn’t. Strive to serve, not just to shine. I had the opportunity to attend this talk at the Women in Product Singapore summit last week. It was a day well spent with inspiring people. #womeninproduct #productmanagement #leadership

🎉 I'm thrilled to share my latest article in Fast Company on fixing the "broken rung" for women leaders! As someone who's dedicated my career to developing women leaders, this piece is especially close to my heart. While the latest Women in the Workplace report from McKinsey & LeanIn.org shows we're still facing significant challenges, I believe we can accelerate progress. The reality is stark: For every 100 men promoted to manager, only 81 women receive the same opportunity. This "broken rung" creates a ripple effect that impacts women's advancement at every level. But here's what gives me hope: Through my work with Fortune 500 companies, I've seen firsthand what makes a difference in advancing women leaders. In this article, I explore three key areas where organizations can take meaningful action: • Reimagining what leadership looks like • Making development accessible for busy schedules • Transforming how we deliver feedback The solutions are within reach - but they require intentional action and new approaches. As we look ahead to 2025, I'm eager to help more organizations this challenge and others. From my unique vantage point working with clients across industries, I see both the evolving trends and the proven strategies that drive real change. Whether you're planning your leadership development strategy or looking to accelerate women's advancement, let's connect about how we can help you achieve your goals. What steps is your organization taking to fix the "broken rung"? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments, where you can also find a link to the full article.
