We started running Fraterniteas way back....in 2019, as a way of giving back to the learning community for our 20th anniversary. It's our 25th year and we're still going strong. What's a Fraternitea you ask? A monthly learning event run by a Navgati facilitator, always online, always free to attend, always focusing on a topic that we find interesting or want to learn more about (the best way to learn something is to share it with someone else). This month, we're finding a way to reframe failures and mistakes with the wonderfully talented Meghna Singhee with concepts drawn from the book Rising Strong by Brene Brown. Come join us, bring your kids, grandparents and dogs (ok fine, cats also welcome even though they never make any mistakes). Third Thursday of the month at Three - ie the 20th of June. Register using the link in the first comment or get some exercise and type it out yourself. #learninganddevelopment #selfawareness

I’m excited to announce our partnership with Chapter One UK! It’s staggering that 1 in 5 children aged 5-8 don't own a single book. Learning to read is not just about succeeding in school, it’s about succeeding in life. Through this collaboration, we’ll be working to measure the long-term impact of Chapter One’s incredible reading programmes. Our goal is to help them demonstrate their social value, secure more corporate sponsors, and grow their impact—ensuring more children have access to the skills they need to succeed. As Emma Bell, CEO at Chapter One says: "We chose to partner with Impact Advantage because their measurement platform, impact.Ai, goes way beyond traditional proxy values. It allows us to truly understand and showcase the profound impact our programmes have on children, volunteers and companies alike." Through this partnership, we will work together to maximise Chapter One's impact, playing our part in creating a world where all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive.

Hello Friends, -------------- We all know the scripture, And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory ... 1 Chronicles 4:10 (NKJV). --------------- People have interpreted that scripture to mean enlarge my blessings or enlarge my opportunities and so on. --------------- Since transitioning to self-employment, I've learned that "enlarging my territory" in terms of growing my business means "reducing my reach." It seems like an oxymoron, but it is not. --------------- Let me explain ... I used to spread a wide net trying to attract clients by spending a LOT of time creating advertising campaigns and offering way too many free services. --------------- However, I've learned that if you hone relationships with fewer serious clients, you will earn more money (including passive income while you sleep). --------------- So, I'm offering the "Susan Woods Exclusives" subscription-membership plan. --------------- The basic membership plan is only $5 per month. However, the services and resources members enjoy is worth a lot more. --------------- BECOME A MEMBER TODAY! Select the link below: https://lnkd.in/ezQn2vW5

It's Finance Week at Institute of Community Directors Australia! Today I delivered "Questions your board should ask about the finances" to over 500 NFP and community board members across Australia. I'm also excited to launch a new suite of online courses for not-for-profit boards called Advanced financial governance. These courses go beyond understanding the balance sheet to supporting boards make smart financial decisions. The more we demystify the financial aspects of NFP organisations, the more we empower our members to make strategic, informed decisions which will lead to better outcomes for our communities. https://lnkd.in/gbbdesQP
