Central Valley Mother Lode Regional Consortium (CVML) participants attended their 1st Regional Action Planning Workshop in Burbank. This session had representation from Bakersfield College, College of the Sequoias, Fresno City College, San Joaquin Delta College, Lemoore College and Regional Chair of CVML. Regional partners came together to review data, identify priorities, and develop a work plan for their GAC 3.0 work. During Massachusetts Apprenticeship Week, the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD) announced $3.2 million in Grants for Registered Apprenticeship Opportunities in Workforce (GROW) to 29 organizations. Funding will be used to train and place 514 apprentices across the state. Among the recipients, Massasoit Community College received $20,000 to develop a Registered Apprenticeship Program in Medium/Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology.
