Here’s a fun fact for you for the #WorldMentalHealthDay: we touch our phones more often than we touch people we love or care for. In this digital world, we’re starting to relate more to technology rather than through it. And the algorithmic tech is designed to keep us there: it’s really good at creating seductive individualised bubbles, at the expense of genuine connections. How has technology shaped your mind today? Are you using it to express yourself with freedom and be closer to the loved ones or are you solving to fit the algorithm’s functions and its incentives? Sometimes, the most fitting thing we can do is disconnect in order to reconnect. Here’s a picture from my day. I was in a classroom, and the view outside, in its Autumn robes, reminded me of the most powerful algorithm: the rhythm of nature. I am trying to stay tuned to that. #WorldMentalHealthDay #DigitalWellbeing #MentalHealth #MindfulTech

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 We successfully kicked off our "Promote Wellness" series with a therapeutic art session exclusively for members of Ability@Vizient! 🎨✨ Hosted by Amelia Knott, a Registered Psychotherapist, Art Therapist, and Author, this session explored the transformative power of art for self-care. We challenged common myths, debunking the belief that art requires talent and experience or is only for kids. Instead, we learned that therapeutic art provides a break from perfectionism and a way to express emotions. During the session, we transformed paper through altering shape, size, and texture. Thought-provoking questions like "What do I notice?", "What does it remind me of?", "If it had a personality...", and "What would it ask me for?" generated insightful responses. We then incorporated impactful words and phrases into a representation of our experience. The session left us inspired, rejuvenated, and connected, reinforcing the importance of self-care within the Ability@Vizient community. #PromoteWellness #SelfCareMatters #ArtTherapy #WellnessJourney #AbilityAtVizient

📉 Reducing Client Drop-Offs in Early Therapy Sessions Through Technology 🚀 One of the biggest challenges faced by mental health professionals is client drop-off—especially during the early stages of therapy, when trust and engagement are still developing. This can lead to disrupted care for clients and missed opportunities for practitioners. So, how can we reduce this early-stage attrition? The answer lies in technology. 🔑 Here are a few ways tech can help: 1️⃣ Automated Client Follow-Ups: Early sessions can be overwhelming for clients. With automated reminders, follow-up messages, and engagement nudges, you can help clients stay on track and feel supported outside of sessions. 2️⃣ Personalized Session Summaries: AI-powered tools can generate easy-to-understand summaries of each session, ensuring that clients leave with a clear understanding of key points and goals. This reinforces the session’s impact and encourages clients to continue. 3️⃣ Streamlined Intake Process: Simplifying administrative tasks like forms and assessments before the first session reduces friction and allows therapists to focus on building rapport from day one. 4️⃣ Real-Time Communication: Offering secure, real-time chat options between sessions creates a safe space for clients to ask questions or address concerns without waiting for the next appointment. 5️⃣ Data-Driven Insights: Analytics can help practitioners identify early signs of disengagement or potential drop-off risks, allowing them to take action proactively. By integrating the right tools, mental health professionals can not only improve client retention but also provide a more engaging, supportive, and personalized experience for those in their care. This means fewer drop-offs, more consistent progress, and ultimately, better outcomes for clients. I began my private practice journey with hits and trials and slowly figured out how to do this sustainably for myself 🪴✨ Now, when I work with therapists in their private practice or the ones just starting out, I always share my learnings so they can plan smarter. They don't need to make the same mistakes I did. Maybe they can bring sustainable practices much earlier than when I could. That's why I partnered with Safetherapy to work on the Private Practice Accelerator. Even though my sessions are just starting this weekend, the accelerator is already doing amazing - you can see it from the reviews. Well done Srishti Narula for conducting these sessions so well, and of course Hrishika Awasthi for such a brilliant idea! I'm excited to bring my knowledge to the table, covering topics like marketing your practice, building revenue streams, self-confidence, therapist mental health, and crafting great client experiences. The best part? It's highly action-oriented, with a playbook filled with templates and processes to help therapists plan long-term. We started Cohort 1 as an experiment, and it's working! Now, Cohort 2 is launching on July 15th, and we have a few seats left. If you're a therapist looking to start or grow your practice, I'd love for you to join. 🙌 #PrivatePractice #TherapistLife #ProfessionalDevelopment #therapybysaniya
