I am pleased to announce that my article, "Radiomics Features Outperform Standard Radiological Measurements in Detecting Femoroacetabular Impingement on 3D Magnetic Resonance Imaging," has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Orthopaedic Research. This work is a natural continuation of our previous article, "A Radiomics Approach to the Diagnosis of Femoroacetabular Impingement," published last year in Frontiers in Radiology (Sec. Artificial Intelligence in Radiology, Volume 3 - 2023). In this earlier study, we demonstrated that radiomics can automatically distinguish impingement joints from healthy joints using water-only Dixon MRI, achieving over 97% accuracy. In the latest study, we further explore the potential of radiomics, comparing it against traditional radiological measurements for diagnosing femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). By leveraging machine learning, we achieved 100% accuracy in detecting FAI, significantly surpassing the 74% accuracy of traditional methods. This research underscores the promise of radiomics in enhancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency in orthopedics. A heartfelt thank you to my coauthors and collaborators for their contributions. In Trauma Radiography , we always need at least AP and Lateral views, this is a key principle in Radiology, however, the thing with trauma radiography is that how the radiographer obtain these two views is up to him and up to what the trauma patient can do, how far he can go with the patient, depending on, further modifications can be done such as tube angulation, cassette placement, factors manipulation.. etc can be done 👍🏻 #ruleoftwo☢️ #traumaradiography #radiology #radiography
