As our company is planning for next year, we are focusing on leadership. What it means to you and your beliefs. We were asked to either reference a famous quote on leadership or create one. At this late stage of my career, I wanted to reflect on what I wanted from a leader and what it means to me to lead. I hope I have dreamed big, dared to do and inspired others along the way. "True leadership is the art of inspiring action. It's about kindling the fire within oneself and then using that spark to ignite the passions of others. Let's dare to dream, dare to do, and dare to inspire." Share with me what you believe leadership is and what has inspired you.

Positive leadership is all about creating an environment where people can thrive and do their best work. It's not about micromanaging or barking orders but about inspiring and motivating others. Positive leaders believe in the potential of their people and focus on helping them develop their strengths Look for the diamond in the rough and polish it. Let's talk about kindness and leadership! Good, kind leadership is a transformative force. It is the courage to lead with empathy, the strength to inspire through integrity, and the wisdom to uplift others over oneself. True leadership doesn’t command respect, it earns it by nurturing trust, cultivating growth, and showing that power is not about dominance but service. People never believe what you simply tell them. They might believe what you show them. But they often believe what their friends say. Yet, they always believe what they tell themselves.
