Today is Global #fattyliverday! Global Fatty Liver Day (formerly International NASH Day) is the premier, international education campaign that is convened by Global Liver Institute annually, on the 2nd Thursday of June, to raise visibility and urgency around the impact of fatty liver disease, and its more advanced form, on our communities. Fatty liver disease, often asymptomatic in its early stages, can progress to more sever condition such as liver cancer if left unchecked. At FUJIFILM Wako, we are dedicated to advancing liver cancer diagnostics. We offer opportunities for the early detection of liver fibrosis and Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) using in vitro diagnostics. We are joining @globalliver to raise awareness about #fattyliverdisease in Germany, and strive to make a significant impact on liver health worldwide. #ActNowScreenToday #Fujifilm #Wako #Diagnostics #LiverDisease

At OWL Metabolomics, we believe it is crucial to bring the spotlight towards fatty liver disease, a condition affecting 115 million people worldwide. By 2030, this number is expected to skyrocket to 357 million. Often underdiagnosed due to subtle symptoms, fatty liver disease poses significant risks, including cirrhosis, liver cancer, and liver transplant. Our purpose is to raise awareness and promote preventive measures, such as our OWLiver panel the only non-invasive diagnostic test capable to detect at risk-MASH in any of its phases. Join us in this fight against fatty liver disease this #GlobalFattyLiverDay #MASH #HealthAwareness #LiverHealth #JoinTheMovement

Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) is an autoimmune disease affecting the bile ducts and liver. Most people with PSC also have Crohn's or Colitis. We know that some people with PSC go on to develop liver failure and so need a transplant, and some people with both PSC and Crohn's or Colitis have an increased risk of cancer of either the liver, bile ducts, gallbladder or bowel. Aspirin is a common drug used to treat pain and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. Recent clinical trials and research suggest that taking aspirin regularly may reduce the risk of developing some cancers in the general population. This UK-wide study will be the first to see if low dose aspirin is safe and effective in reducing the risk of cancer, as well as the need for liver transplantation, and in increasing overall survival, in people with both Crohn's or Colitis and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC). Read below to learn how to take part in the clinical trial: https://ow.ly/MgEs50QS3fj #ResearchOpportunity #Crohns #Colitis #PSC #IBD
