Warning: the text bellow may contain mistakes, because my English level needs improvement. >> Good level of English << Maybe you saw that describe in the some job opportunity. I saw many times. Someone send me a message, by LinkedIn, with a new job offer, but I answer: "Thanks! But, in the moment I don't looking for a new job. And I need to improve my english conversation to internacional opportunity." But, what I really would like answer it's just: "Thanks! But, in the moment I don't looking for a new job." So... I keep thinking what means: "good level of english"... I need to improve my "listen" and my vocabulary, but I can "survivor" in the english class with native teachers. Depending on the subject, I can speak well. I have also been reading a lot of English content. I have been enjoying it. And comparated with some months ago, I can understand the context of the english movies with english subtitle. I have a list with some movies that I watched: - Inside Bill's Brain 2019 - Jurassic Park (1993) - Rampage (2018) - Rock Balboa 1 (1976) - Rock Balboa 2 (1979) - Rock Balboa 3 (1982) - Rock Balboa 4 (1985) - Rocky 5 (1991) - Rocky Balboa (2007) - I Robot (2004) - Aquaman (2018) - I Am Legend (2007) - Arnold (2023) - Return to Space (2022) - Einstein and the bomb (2024) - Creed (2016) What do you think about my english level? I have a "Good level of English"? Of course: I know that I need to do better. #learnEnglish #goodLevelOfEnglish

Are you struggling with finding the time to improve your English? Sometimes motivation finds you! As seen below. However, more often we need to manufacture our own motivation. If you have a really strong desire or need, you will move mountains to achieve it and that applies with learning languages too. Pretty much everyone can learn a language. Almost everyone can speak the language their parents speak. I was gifted at French but not fluent before I had my realization that learning French would solve my problems of what to study for my minor at university and how to ensure I got a job when I graduated. In hindsight, by studying English literature and the French language I ended up with a lot of language study in my first degree. I chose English literature from my love of reading and then Comedy: Writing and Performance for my love of comedy which is also the skillful use of language. Why do I tell you this? Because it's more important for you to tap into your reason or desire to be a skillful user of legal English than it is to do anything else in this area. When your "why" is strong enough, you will find all the "hows" and the "whos" which makes them less important. If you'll move mountains for your clients and your firm, why not move one mountain for yourself and become even more effective for them anyway? Keep up the good work, #CharlieShan #legalenglish #businessenglish #corporatelaw

Three Questions for my Students. 10-10-24. The answers to the questions can be found in the following dictionary: https://lnkd.in/gnRgmEqc (1) A question about the verb ‘to imply’. Is it considered incorrect in standard English to use the verb ‘infer’ with the same meaning as the verb ‘imply’? To answer the question, see meaning two in the dictionary. (2) A question about the adjective ‘keen’. Is the following sentence correct: I’m very keen for all the staff members to take their holidays before the end of the year. To answer the question, see some of the structures that are written in bold at meaning one in the dictionary. (3) A question about the noun ‘a launch’. Download the ‘sounds right’ app to your telephone and try to find the symbol that represents the vowel sound in the noun ‘launch’, and then write the symbol. To answer the question, see the symbols below the word in the dictionary and then use the app. This post is an example of the kind of interactions I have with my students in our WhatsApp group. The feedback I get from the students (from their answers) is extremely valuable and it helps me to change how I teach them. #englishteacher #professordeingles #englishcourse #englishlessons #inglese ##dublin #irland #irlanda #irlande #irlandia

🌟 Today let’s celebrate National English Language Day 📚 As we pay homage to one of the greatest wordsmiths of all time, William Shakespeare, it's a perfect opportunity to celebrate its nuances and humour; its power and poetry. From my earliest days in school to my current role, English has been a constant source of inspiration and connection for me. It's not just about words on a page; it's about the stories they tell, the emotions they evoke, and the bridges they build between people and cultures. 🌍 I vividly remember my early years, captivated by the worlds woven through the pages of a book. Authors like Enid Blyton transported me to different places, introduced me to unforgettable characters, and sparked my imagination. To me it made sense. As a quiet child, who didn’t always have the confidence to speak up. The words I read inspired me and my writing felt meaningful (even at the age of 7 when I wrote my first short story!) This passion for the English language followed me through college and University and into my career. Now, I get to talk about my favourite subject every day! 😊 I can share my passion for the English language and my knowledge to show you how to: ⭐ navigate language barriers to build confidence ⭐ advance English language skills ⭐ use language purposefully ⭐ effectively communicate in business I invite you to share your own experiences with the English language. What does it mean to you? How has it shaped your life and career? 🎉💬 #EnglishLanguage #NationalEnglishLanguageDay #EnglishCommunication #LearningEnglish

Good Morning, Wishing you all a blessed start to the day. My thoughts are with those who are striving for freedom, happiness, love, and peace the privileges we are fortunate to receive each day. Among millions, I am grateful that you are part of my network. Though we may be strangers, thank you for recognizing me as a professional. This message is for each one of you who has journeyed with me on LinkedIn. This path has had its challenges moments of exhaustion and struggle but I’m here to stay, holding onto hope with each new day. From the start, I knew I wasn’t alone in this journey. As an English literature graduate, I’ve often encountered “native speakerism,” the idea that English belongs solely to native speakers or is limited to the West. This view can be disheartening, especially for writers like myself who feel deeply connected to the language. English is more than a language, it’s a bridge across cultures. And as literature students, we’ve explored not only Western classics but also the voices of Indian authors, celebrated and studied worldwide. Teaching and writing in English should be open to all who are passionate about it, no matter their background. Let’s work together to create this change. As a parting thought, I’ll leave you with a favorite quote: “The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.” — Oscar Wild #goodmorning #positivity #Linkedinconnections #Gratitude #Englishvsnativespeakerism #Actofkindness

📢 Returning to My Passion for Teaching Arabic 🌟 After a challenging year of facing obstacles due to the war, I’m finally able to get back to what I love most—teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. Finding a stable place with reliable power and internet was not an easy journey, but I’m grateful to have found a way forward. When I first sat down to resume teaching, there was a part of me that worried: What if I’ve forgotten how to teach? 🌱 Despite my fears, I was blessed with a new student this week who gave me an opportunity to reconnect with my passion. I wanted to ensure I provided the best learning experience possible. When I received their feedback, it reminded me that teaching is not just about the lessons, but also about patience, understanding, and making students feel comfortable as they explore a new language. The review from my new student moved me deeply, and it reassured me that I still have the ability to inspire and guide others. It’s not just about teaching words but also sharing the culture and stories behind them. 📚💡 If you're looking to learn Arabic, I'm here and ready to help you on your language journey! Let's achieve your learning goals together. 💬✍️ #ArabicLanguage #OnlineTeaching #LanguageLearning #TeachingJourney #BackToTeaching #Resilience #ArabicForNonNativeSpeakers
