In Pakistan, employees are suffering as their rights are being neglected, and organizations are not providing them with justice according to the laws and ILO standards. Delivering justice and rights must be the first priority. In Pakistan, particularly in OMC companies, it's a violation of the law that workers / staff are not made permanent even after five, ten, and more years of service. This is a clear breach of their rights.

Earlier today, Marjolein Jongman and I had the privilege of participating in the #IFC Days event, where we saw Egypt's Prime Minister and several high-ranking officials, along with representatives from the private sector. The partnership between IFC and the Egyptian government is built on three pillars: employment, inclusion, and integration, with the ultimate goal of driving sustainable economic growth in Egypt. 📈 It was interesting to hear from the Minister of Planning on the strong need to align universities and schools with the needs of the private sector.
