I thought learning was something we did in school, right?  A checkbox to tick off. How wrong I was. It wasn't until later in my entrepreneurial journey that I realized the true power of embracing learning as a lifelong passion. It's not about memorizing facts or acing tests - the skills if you will. It's about nurturing an insatiable curiosity that propels you forward, challenging your assumptions, and constantly expanding your horizons - that more about behavior modification. Learning isn't confined to classrooms. University level entrepreneur education programs were designed for skill development (accounting, marketing, sales, etc.) with little to no emphasis of the behaviors of a successful entrepreneur. (Understanding the entrepreneur, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development 1993) It's in the books we read, the travels we undertake, the conversations we engage in, and the experiences we collect. Each day presents countless opportunities to learn something new,  if only we're open to seeing them. Today, I can proudly say I love to learn.  This shift in mindset has transformed my approach to business, relationships, and life itself. And the best part?  There's always more to discover, more to understand, more to master. So, I challenge you to: ⇾ Ignite that spark of curiosity.  ⇾ Embrace new experiences.  ⇾ Ask questions.  ⇾ Read widely. 🚀My 2 Year reflection🚀 In the past 2 years this is what I’ve learned and what my experience has taught me. Those who may not have the traditional education or background typically valued in the business world often bring unique perspectives and valuable skills to the table. Listed below are a few points to consider regarding an unconventional approach to contributions and potential: 1. Diverse Skill Sets: Individuals from non-traditional backgrounds may possess skills developed through life experiences, self-education, or alternative career paths. These skills can include problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, and resilience. 2. Innovative Thinking: People with unconventional backgrounds often approach challenges differently, leading to innovative solutions and fresh ideas that might not emerge from a more traditional educational framework. 3. Real-World Experience: Practical experience in various fields, even if unrelated to business, can provide valuable insights into market trends, consumer behavior, and operational efficiencies. 4. Networking and Relationships: Those from diverse backgrounds may have unique networks and connections that can open doors to new opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations. 5. Cultural Competence: A non-traditional background can foster a greater understanding of different cultures and communities, which is essential in today’s globalized business environment. 6. Entrepreneurial Spirit : Many individuals without traditional education have pursued entrepreneurship, demonstrating initiative, risk-taking, and the ability to navigate uncertainty. 7. Continuous Learning: A commitment to lifelong learning and self-improvement often characterizes those from unconventional backgrounds, making them adaptable and open to new ideas and approaches. Encouraging diversity in education and experience within the business world can lead to more inclusive and innovative environments, ultimately benefiting organizations and society as a whole.

Shifting focus from weaknesses to strengths to accelerate success. Although against the standard workplace advice, it can be transformative. In the past, I successfully operated in a fast-paced world filled with structured learning paths and packed agendas. The environment was rich with opportunity; however, the developmental focus was more often on "becoming better at..." than fully utilizing what I was good at. This is a notion that is common in many companies around the world. My greatest strength is my learning capacity. It shines in environments that call for experimentation, unconventional thinking, and mastery of new concepts. Only recently I realized its full power. 🎬 It was my leap into entrepreneurship that marked a pivotal turn. Suddenly, working on numerous projects simultaneously, many outside my core expertise, I had to rely on my ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively and immediately. This need brought out my hidden strength, helping me see my superpower. Relying on it not only smoothed out what could have been a rocky start, but also helped me turn challenges into opportunities. I now manage two critical lists. - 'To Do' - 'To Learn' Today, whether it's learning industry insights or exploring new AI tools, each learning opportunity builds on this foundation. ⚡️My key takeaway from this experience is that a simple change in environment can unleash our hidden powers. By concentrating on my strengths, I can accomplish more than if I were to try fixing all my weaker areas. A Hack For Young Professionals 👇🏾 When you're young and stepping into a new industry or pursuing a big endeavor, it's easy to be discouraged by a lack of experience. Another perspective on experience is that it has its place, but youth which can bring with it speed can be an advantage too. What you may lack in experience, you can make up for in energy, fresh perspectives, and the ability to go faster, longer, and harder. You’re in a prime position to learn, adapt, and gain the experience you do not have as you get started. The beauty of youth is that you're not tied to "how it’s always been done," which means you're free to explore innovative solutions without the constraints of past failures or status quo behavior. Sure, errors will happen—that's part of the process. But every challenge faced head-on builds your confidence, sharpens your insight, and strengthens your character. Those who have years of experience may stick to what they know, but that doesn't always mean it's the most efficient or effective path. Your fresh approach can uncover different ways that others might overlook. So, if you're young and just starting out, don’t let inexperience hold you back. There’s power in believing you can do anything—and that belief is what drives innovation, resilience, and our world for that matter. 𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠   I deeply believe the following:   💡 Theoretical knowledge only brings you that far. ⚒️Experiential knowledge is what to strive for.   Why?   ➖Studying theory, reading endlessly, playing with thoughts & thinking constantly stays just theory. No connection to life. Stagnation.   〰️However, if we apply what we learn, read & live the thoughts & ideas we create, try & fail, all of it becomes experiences. It is lived life. Movement & change. Even in the toughest circumstances.   And if one thing is clear, it is that: life is change & movement, not stagnation.   ➡️ So, if we want to live our life, we need to move, change & try.   During my Biology studies, I sucked at the exams. No matter how much I studied.   The second I worked in a lab for an internship, in community, I felt: FINALLY I am learning something!   💡 If theoretical knowledge is not applied as soon as possible, its pointless. Lost time & effort.   I saw the same for starting my business: I had NO theoretical knowledge about businesses, no MBA, economic studies, tax system knowledge etc.   I simply started a business. I had business coaches on my side, an accountant, a startup incubator & learned on the go, implementing the theoretical steps into practical to-do’s.   & it worked.   💎 Don’t get lost in theory, thoughts, ideas, visions: implement them!
