Since COVID many are given a choice to work at home or the office and many are offered a hybrid approach. Do you prefer to work at home or in the office? Happy Monday! So where are you working from? A new report from office consultancy experts, Making Moves, surveyed over 2,000 working adults and found that spending at least some days in the office boosts happiness levels. According to the findings, only 19.23% of workers reported feeling unhappy working from the office on any day, with this number dropping to 7.95% among Gen Z workers. This suggests that the majority (80.77%) of UK office workers feel positive about being in the office at least part-time. According to the study, the top reasons for UK office workers to work from the office include: 🔵 Socialising with colleagues – (41.52%) 🔵 Getting out of the house – (39%) 🔵 Better collaboration and communication with colleagues – (35.69%) 🔵 Feeling more productive in an office environment – (30.85%) 🔵 Having a dedicated workspace – (30.45%) 🔵 Maintaining better work-life boundaries – (30.20%) The report also revealed that Friday is the most enjoyable day to work from the office, while Thursday ranks as the least preferred.
