More tech and data led valuations are coming into the mainstream mortgage lending. It is becoming more imperative that when buying a property the purchaser has someone actually inspect the property to help them understand and identify any potential issues or defects. Is it time that lenders & brokers are made to inform the purchaser that only a Desktop or an AVM has been performed on the property when deciding if they will lend against it?
